Where is the Best Home Decor in Denver, Colorado?
“WOW” I just had an incredible experience at this vintage modern store in Denver. I live in Dallas and love to shop modern in other cities and found them and their web site on city search. What I found was a huge selection of both vintage and new modern designs. On the main floor was a mid century haven with everything from Danish modern, art deco and pop atomic furniture, lighting, art and glass. I scored a beautiful modernist metal wall sculpture for less than it would have been on an auction site. I also spent a half hour digging in their bargain basement full of marked down items. Shopping for all levels of experience and incomes……Pros + Great customer service with a huge variety of items.Cons – So much to choose from!
I had two beautiful pieces of antique furniture (loveseat & rocker) from around 1906-1910. I took them to AAA-1 Brandt and Whitney to have them reupholsterd. Being the cautious one that I am I asked a hundred questions. They were extremely helpful walking me through the whole process. They had everything there, fabric, nail heads, and braid. You didn’t have to purchase their fabric but if you did they gave you 50% off on it. It was a very high end fabric. The shop was a little messy but don’t let that deter you because they certainly knew what they were doing. I just picked up the pieces and they were absolutely beautiful. I didn’t have them refinish the oak but I did have some scratches so they detailed each piece. It’s amazing how nice they look. I know I’ll return when I need something else done. The only draw back was it took longer than expected but the way they looked in the end…who cares. I highly recommend this company for refinishing and upholstery work
