Where is the Best Health Club in Detroit, Michigan?
i have been going to lifetime shelby since it opened it has always been more of a social club for teens- twenties which i always found annoying (i’m young too, just serious about being there), but i stuck it out avoiding social times. well it has gone to a whole new level. i’ve been going fairly late (9:30-10:00) to avoid the crowd but the past 5 to 6 months have been ridiculous. i park far away, the work out floor is PACKED with people just sitting on a machine socializing or using the phone. girls that block the drinking fountain primping at the mirror for long periods of time. tonight i decided i was too frustrated to continue so i went to the pools to do a few laps, all the lines were filled which i normally would not be to upset about, but 2 of the lines were taken up by some guys hanging out chatting. i didn’t want to go to the leisure pool cause (not that they were doing anything wrong) there were 7-8 men sitting in chairs ogling, which made me very uncomfortable. i was going to
this gym is a money trap they already lost one of there other locations due to not paying rent, and now they are trying to sign up as many people as they can and do the same, look on the beter b.bwebsite they failed a big F… i have been a member at this location for a few years right when the new owners took over it has been down hill from there, one owner doesnt know how to speak to anyone hes a little D!ck to everyone, the other 2 owners down know how to call people back and they have drunks working there, the gym is dirty and old nothing is new they promise all new tred mills they bought tred mills from a gym that closed that were just as old as the ones they took out. do not join this gym you will be sorry there are much better with in 5 mins away, Pros + nonCons – alot
