Where is the Best Health Club in Austin, Texas?
I was a member of this gym for about 3 years. It has a lot of good points, especially the yoga. Affordable and relaxed. Some yoga teachers I really liked quite a lot. The yoga at Premier Lady is great for someone who is looking for a more non-structured, relaxed class. This is very important if you are trying to do yoga to get back in shape, recover from an accident, or are older. Ive been to yoga classes that seemed almost militaristic in attitude which i hated, premier lady is an environment in which you can take what you need.Im kinda iffy on the rest of the gym, the machines are so-so. Although they have a good number of treadmills. They used to have a jacuzzi but it hasnt been working for about a year. The pool never seemed nice to me, too much chlorine and women who are just standing in the pool talking, not using the pool to do exercise. I know there are a number of classes that are good for younger women, I could not partake in due to injury. The level of cleanliness is so-so
I feel your establishment is top-notch and everyone is so friendly and warm, which makes it all the easier. I’ve been a member at many gyms in the past and quit due to the environment and the rude, better-than-though attitudes of some of the staff. I’ve found everyone at Ergo Wellness to be friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in my health and wellbeing. Your health is more than what you weigh and how good you look in spandex and I think Ergo has really captured that by focusing on fitness, health, rehabilitation, etc. Thank you for such a wonderful retreat!
Equipment often broken despite recent renovations in some clubs, equipment isn’t being upgraded. Wireless system for listening to TV programs on your portable FM radio no longer work at five clubs we’ve been to recently. Requests to fix this problem have been totally ignored for past four months. Managers seem unconcerned and iritated when told about problems. So forget catching up on the news or watching that favorite TV program doing aerobic exercise. Most aerobic machines are malfunctioning in some manner. If you want to check your heart rate or calculate the number of calories your burning there is a good chance that function is no longer working. Most of all it’s the attitude of staff, especially management, that clearly doesn’t care that is most frustrating. Management is really more interested in signing up new members than taking care of current members. You’ll find much better service elsewhere.
First, the little person with the screen name ‘ga8625’ has posted an incredibly viscious, personal attack against Bryan Lepley in this review section. I can only assume that this ***** (and I assume a woman) has a personal vendetta against Bryan. Maybe he didn’t drool over her tush because he has a beautiful wife. Maybe he didn’t drool over her BMW (go figger). She apparently has the same level of self-motivation as Bill Clinton going to marrage counseling. Bryan doesn’t drool…he sweats, and he motivates me to sweat and work MY tush off, as I train twice a week with him in his spinning classes. Obviously the overall tone of her posting illustrates a destructive rather than constructive ethos on life. OK, so a thin skinned (proof in the towel comment!), viscious little girl whose comments should be regarded as such.
