Where is the Best Haute Haircut in Seattle, Washington?
I found Halo a couple of years ago and have had Jen is my primary stylist ever since. (I also use to see Colleen before she left on maternity leave?she’s back now?and she rocks too.) All the stylist there are outstanding and Jen always gives me a fantastic haircut and color. She has completely made me over. My husband and I built a house about a year ago and we were on well water that had extremely high iron content which damaged my hair (we’ve since figured this out and corrected the problem). During the first few weeks of living there my hair got an orange tint to it (I’m blond) and was extremely damaged. (it was so weird it could be a topic at a hair seminar some day?ah, country folk) but superwoman Jen conservatively corrected it so not to damage it further. The staff at Halo are also wonderful and make sure their clientele are comfortable and pampered. I travel all the way from Marrowstone Island on the Peninsula just to have my hair done there. I have been going to Mode Organic Salon for a year now. What can I say about the salon is just one thing..AMAZING! the facial is always fantastic as usual!Krisitin and Jonnie are awesome! I had combination skin before (Oily in T area and dry in cheek area) and they required me to use the skin care, and right now, my skin is really soft and my T area is not that oily anymore. Beside that, those ladies shape my brow really pretty. oh couldn’t happier than this! I love my brow! I usually get my brow wax once a month! and after I get my brow done, most of my friends say “wow! where did you get brow wax? I love it!”Next, all hair stylish in mode organic salon are awesome! Last time, I had my hair cut with Selina, Monica Rose and Chelsea Duke; and I had my hair color/foil with Heidi and Crystal !and…I usually get my condition treatment at Mode too.. one who did for condition treatment was Michael..he knows hair and my hair look so great after the treatment. I’ve been in Seattle since March of 09 but have had nothing but mistakes, bad cuts and mediocre color with each place I tried. Someone at work recommended I try Lisa’s Salon out after seeing me have one too many bad hair days.From the moment Lisa’s receptionist answered my neurotic call – My hair troubles in Seattle have been over! It’s obvious that all that work there LOVE what they do – and even though my appointment was at the end of a day – they had just as much enthusiasm as if I was their first client. The consultation was super fun — super thorough – and gave me the confidence I needed to have to know that I was in good hands. My cut is THE BEST CUT I’ve had in years — literally! I have had several hair cuts at Gene Juarez and the only person that is allowed to touch my hair is Althea. She does a great job with curls and isn’t afraid to listen to my suggestions. I’ve had some TERRIBLE haircuts from these folks in the past and some pretty good standard ones. The staff often treat folks that aren’t dressed in the latest trends like crap. It is really unprofessional and rude! In sum, go at your own risk. The other services at Gene Juarez, however, are amazing. The Spa is so cozy and relaxing. I had the spray tan services and some sort of relaxation package before my wedding. I felt and LOOKED like a million dollars afterwards. Since I am so fair, I was afraid that the tan services would make me look orange. On the contrary, I looked sun kissed and warm; not what I had expected at all! Their make-up artist, Antoinette, does an amazing job using mineral makeup. My skin never looked more even and healthy in my life! She really knows how to do makeup that looks gre
