Searching forever for the right cut and color only to find it many many years later at V workshop with color-genius Amanda.I have a tough time deciding what is best for my hair and Amanda played the perfect role in guiding me to literally the best color I’ve ever had. I’ve been going to V workshop for over a year now and have had a genuinely fun time each visit.The mixture of the music, the decor and the personalities makes the ambiance pop! I’ve been to Beauty Kliniek several times while in San Diego–for facials, massages, pedicure, manicure, hair styling, makeup. But cosmetology is only the tip of the iceberg here. It is a labyrinth of intriguing niches each with state-of-the-art offerings for body, mind, and spirit. The clinicians are–across the board–topnotch; they made each session totally relaxing, enjoyable, and therapeutic. This I can compare to some I’ve been to in the NYC area, where staff can be indifferent and lack the degree of expertise and caring I found here, in massages for example. This is a world-class facility, understandably so because its founder and CEO LInda-Anne Kahn, who is multi-certified in everything from aromatherapy to lymphedema therapy, hand picks and trains each employee to her own rigorous standards. The staff is very friendly and not snobby at all. Franco was the one who did my hair and I have to say I totally love my hair. I gave him a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and he give me his input based on my facial features and it was totally great because most stylist just do it without giving you any insight on whether it would look good on you or not. I’m really glad that I picked franco to do my hair because I went from a very big drastic change from long hair till the middle of my back to very short hair up to my chin and I was scared I wasn’t going to like it. But I totally love it. Franco’s depth to detail and contouring my hair cut and color to my face shape and cheek bones where so worth the drastic change. I moved here a couple of years ago, and was freaked out to have to find a new hair salon, but I had heard a lot about this place so I decided to try it. Thank goodness I did! I called first and spoke to the receptionist and she was so helpful and patient with all my questions. I walked in and was greeted with a smile, and I always am to this day. The folks there are so nice, and not snobby like most salons. I was booked with Heather and she is amazing, and I still see her to this day. The vibe is relaxed, and they dont pressure you into any kind of cut you dont want. They are patient and will work with you so you get the cut you want, which is nice.
