After being in search for a new stylist, I got a recommendation from Christopher himself for his newest stylist Nicole. I saw from their website that she’s a pro with curly and wavy hair. I have naturally curly hair but have been straightening it for years because no one has ever known how to cut it properly. Thank goodness I found Nicole because she seriously made me fall in love with my curly hair. She also taught me how to use products (which they don’t push on you at all) which makes the style even easier.The whole crew at Splitends are amazing, friendly, and professional. Plus the space itself is beautiful because it doubles as The Box gallery. So you’re surrounded by beautiful art work while getting an amazing haircut.I definitely recommend booking with Nicole. My family and I have been going to Barbara for about/around eight years (I think! It’s been so long!). For me, I really express myself with doing random things to my hair. It’s not uncommon for me to come to her and tell her I want to chop off all my hair into a bob cut. (I have not gone there yet, because she really motivated me to grow it out for my wedding! For my wedding I wanted a vintage/classic/elegant look. I love the old world feel. Barbara told me to bring in a collection of pictures of what I wanted and she worked with me! I couldn’t have asked for anything better! My hair stayed up all night long and in place! Barbara Lacar truly is a NEEDED key element in your wedding! I have been going to Sarah for 5 years now and highly recommend her services. I came to her with jet black hair that I wanted lightened without damaging bleach and she spent 4 1/2 hours doing it….without frying my hair. She won me over that day and has not disappointed since. I am now light brown with blonde highlights and I get compliments on my hair all the time. She has a way with color and her cuts are great too. The salon itself is very relaxing and beautiful.
