Where is the Best Haute Haircut in Boston, Massachusetts?
After years of parking battles on Newbury Street, I decided there must be a more convenient place who could still handle highlights, lowlights, and someone extremely picky about blond. My coworker recommended Kelly at Studio 291. I have now been seeing her for 2 year. She can do anything I request and the color is always outstanding. The cut is equally great. My hair is thick and she manages to cut it so I can easily style it straight how I like it. Not much more that I need to say. My friend is a 26 year old party girl and I am a 38 year old mom and we both feel great after seeing Kelly. I moved to Maine last year and I still come back. Kelly just joined Sylvester Franc in Newton. The salon is very nice and convenient. Also key is that I can often get in to see Kelly with short notice. I could never do that on Newbury Street.
I had the Keratin Smoothing Treatment with Kady over 3 months ago, and I am still loving it! My hair is still much straighter than usual with NO frizz! I have extremely curly, frizzy hair. I went to Umi for a haircut model call. I had short hair, bob style, and so the only haircut that they could get from that was a pixie cut. Angela gave me the haircut. She was professional, had gentle hands, and did a great job. My friends say I look younger, but need my hair colored (I guess my natural hair color of dark blond is not that stylish). All stylists were personally supervised by the owner and two more senior stylists, and it looked like they were judging the American Idol contest (not cheesy, just very attentive to minute details). Also, at the reception there was Laura, the person who was responsible for model call (email her if interested, preferably with a picture of current look). She was professional, friendly, attentive and had a killer haircut. I have no problems with Umi, and would go there again, but only for model call, as I cannot afford anything over $50.
