Where is the Best Happy Hour in Detroit, Michigan?
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and always a wild crowd. There are definately fancier places in Detroit, but none can meet the atmosphere of the Post Bar. One good story was a took a buddy from Mexico there, and when we walked in he was scared. He was in downtown Detroit and in a bar that is covered in graffiti from the patrons. With the music, staff, and atmosphere he had a great time. The staff made him have a great time. Pros + friendly crowd
WOW! What a great destination. Tucked into a residential side street in sleepy Downtown Northville is this slice of Italy. Set up like an Italian village, Little Italy has an excellent “ristorante”, a way cool bar (Bacchus Bar) for casual dining with more spirit selections than I have ever seen in my life, the lower level wine cellar is incredible, and the neatest Italian market/pizzeria carry-out (Hutton Street Market) jam packed with wine and Italian specialties. They have a great selection of ready to heat and eat foods and bottle their own sauces. The best Italian food I have had outside of Italy. Great steaks (try the fillet), seafood, homemade pastas. The market carry-out pizzas are also available in the bar (a must try). Top notch high quality food and a super waitstaff make you feel better than family. Overall, an incomparable experience. Handsdown, my favorite restaurant. THANK YOU Little Italy!Pros + The Food. The Wine. Onsite Parking (By-The-Door Parking For Carry-Out.)
If you like a place that is relaxed, an atmosphere that’s cool, beautiful people both working and partying then this is the place for you. I have been here on several occasions going back to parties during Super Bowl Week to the Tigers big run to the World Series and other random Tuesdays and weekend nights and the people are always nice and the drinks are great! Most of the time the huge HD screen is displaying cool pictures of the City of Detroit but if there is an important sporting event on TV you can bet it will be shown in crystal clear HD . I would highly recommend that you check out one of Downtown?s gems the next time you are in the city.Pros + Great atmosphere & service, creative drinks, high end premium liquors you don’t normally find in other bars. Bartenders are more than willing to make recommendations when asked.Cons – small sign that is hard to see when driving down the street.
