Where is the Best Happy Hour in Denver, Colorado?
Me and my boyfriend walked to Undici on a Wednesday night because it was nearby and viewed a menu, deciding to sit down for a meal. The wait extended the hostess’s original expectation; meanwhile bartenders asked us twice about drinks. The overall service and attention was prompt. I ordered the spaghetti with tomatoes and jumbo shrimp and he ordered the rigatoni with homemade sausage and pancetta. Spaghetti can vary wildly and I was admittedly worried about getting a bland or overly sweet sauce. Upon the first few bites I immediately found my dish to be interesting, but as I went on to discover the tasty tomato chunks, generous garlic shavings and basil seasoning I became thoroughly impressed. I at first declined a taste of the rigatoni based on it’s appearance alone, but quickly agreet to a food swap. He was impressed with my dish while I agreed that his was excessively greasy and bland (shouldn’t homemade sausage be more flavorful than average ground beef?) We had some difficulty com
oysters were awesome;fresh excellent selection and fairly priced. main entree was a little too spicy but palatable and tasty.
