I have been going to Philip for a year now and I am so glad I found him. I had been referred to him by a friend and read previous Citysearch reviews and decided to book a consult. Before him I was searching, like you, for that special stylist that could see what it was that I wanted and deliver in terms that work best for me and my hair. He has met that need and exceeded. Not only does he give me what I’ve envisioned, but he sees what I may have missed and makes it better—for me. It’s due in part to the fact that before each and every session, he will sit you down and consult with you about what you are looking to achieve. I have recommended many of my friends to him and they too are now happy loyal clients. You wil not find any stylist in this and the surrounding areas that can deliver not only amazing results with the cut and color services he provides but the level of service and professionalism that he no doubt makes a priority for you and your salon experience. He is always plea

I LOVE this place! Corinne did my blond highlights and they turned out amazing! She totally listened to what I wanted, talked me out of doing something I would have hated, and the color manages to both look natural and have a lot of spark. I am so happy with the results! My hair was very drab and needed a major color correction from past jobs gone bad. She is sooo nice. The whole place. Very good energy and vibe, none of that snotty attitude from other upscale salons. She cut my hair and I love that too. Again, she LISTENED to what I like and don’t like, and gave me exactly what I wanted. None of this walking out with layers or pieces too short to ever pull back type of thing that causes you to cry for days after a haircut. Let me tell you, it is those cheap salons that completely ruined my color and it’s never been right since. This is the first time I have walked out of a salon happy in about 5 years in this city. And given how nice and positive everyone was, I’m sure I’ll go back!

First time seeing Monica, and overall very impressed. Haircut was great (she gave me the exact bangs I asked for), and although the highlights did not go as planned, I was very pleased with the way she handled the situation. My hair turned out to be a bit more damaged than either one of us realized (from another stylist’s botched job and my own wizardry with a box of Clairol) so the highlights and color simply didn’t take properly and I was not happy with the results. She agreed with me, explained what had happened and apologized for not realizing sooner that my hair was so damaged. She explained that with the condition my hair was in, bleach, the only solution to removing the botched color I walked in with, would be too damaging to my hair, and suggested coloring my hair an all-over dark brown. I agreed, and the result was great–very pretty chocolate brown and my hair now looks really shiny & healthy. I thought Monica was very personable, and liked the way she explained every

I guess everything happens for a reason because I found my way to Egla at Cassandra’s one day after an AWFUL experience at another non aveda salon that I was given a gift certificate to that messed up my hair! I was upset and desperate and decided I needed to find an Aveda salon in the area that I was in because I’ve always loved aveda and I was going out of town the next day and needed to fix my hair immediatley. I looked on the internet on my phone and found Cassandra’s. I called them and explained my situation and they said to come in. Egla was so nice and caring and professional. She made me feel so much better and did everything she could to fix my hair. She also gave me a great cut!! She even sliced me some apples because she knew I haden’t eaten all day. I went back to her three weeks later and she suggested I do subtle highlights to achieve what I wanted. She did an awsome job, and again so nice and professional and caring. She takes her time and listens!!! Thank you Egla!!!!

Chad is the best salon stylist our state has. His background and abilities take him a step above other stylists. He understands a good cut gives hair movement and life, it is not just a haircut. He has seen me through a terrible time when my hair was falling out in clumps due to medication side effects, and was always compassionate and helpful. My hair is almost back to normal…and as usual, I love the cut. I have blonde hair that is fine but thick so any bad cuts can be seen right away. One can go other places, but why? Sure it takes awhile to become “known” at a salon such as this one, but so do friendships. If you expect more with your haircut, and willing to pay for what you get, then you will never leave this salon for another. Even when I live in other states, (or out of the country) I fly back to get my hair cut by Chad. He is worth it. Others don’t even come close. I know, I used to be a hair model back in the 70’s with Sebastian…and there is none better than Cha
