Where is the Best Haircut in Portland, Oregon?
I had been looking for someone to trust with my hair and i read so many good reviews on Jena I decided to giver her a try. It was very convenient since she starts at 6am so I can get my hair done before I need to go into work. I went in the first time not knowing what I wanted and some how it turned out better than what I could have dreamed of. I recently went back to get highlights in to give my hair texture for an up-do for a wedding I was in, She listened to what I needed I gave me highlights that look natural, hide when I have my hair down, and makes my hair look amazing when its up. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I have never done anything dramatic to my hair but in her hands I feel like anything she does will make me look amazing in the end. My next appointment is for a Keratin treatment to straighten out my frizzy hair. She gave me a lot of information on it, and gave me good advice whether I should do it or not because of my hair type. She knows her stuff! I wouldn’t place
I went to Belle Epoque in search of a new salon because I wasn’t very happy with my current stylist. Marisa took me as a walk-in client and was very welcoming. Marisa did a very in-depth consultation with me before she even touched my hair so she knew exactly what I wanted done with it. I was tired of having the yellow/brass type blonde and that always seemed to be what I got from other places. This blonde turned out to be a golden more natural blonde (similar to the highlights you’d get after being in the sun). I’m so happy to have found a new stylist in Marisa. I highly recommend her! She listens closely to what you want while also giving input on what she things, is very cool, funny and makes you feel relaxed and at ease when you’re in her chair. Definitely give her a shot – you won’t be disappointed. Pros + Very cute salon, beautiful hair color, friendly stylists, great location, clean place, good pricing!Cons – None!
I never write reviews but I was surprised that no one has ever written a review mentioning Man so I decided to write one now..I’ve been coming to Poshe Salon since they have opened(almost 5 years now) and Man (pronounced mON) was the very first person I was scheduled with and eversince then.. I never tried anyone else. I get everything done by Man; nails and waxing (eyebrows, underarms, bikini.. the whole shabang). Let me tell you.. it is HARD finding the right place to get nails/waxing done. I’m asian so my eyebrows grow differently than others and if you don’t have the right experience with waxing asian eyebrows then it turns out pretty bad. The nails ALWAYS turn outs out great, most of the time I see people who get their nails done at other places.. turn out to look tacky.Besides having nails/waxing done by Man, I come to Tony for hair cuts/bang trims. He’s really nice and does a pretty good job. It’s hard for me to trust people with my hair.. (I usually get my hair done in Cal
Where does a person begin in describing why others should go out on a limb, believe a review and trust a stranger with a piece of themselves that reflects who they are…their hair? Here is my feeble attempt~First of all, my apologizes to Blades Hair Studio, I should have done this years ago. I must admit that I wasn’t sure I wanted to advertise to the world wide web that I had finally found the last hairstylist to ever touch my hair. His skill goes beyond maintaining a highly successful business (in an industry where salons success rate is very minimual) and retaining 90% of his clients. From the thorough life-style interview to analyzing your facial structure, body shape and skin tone, he has already begun processing possibilities and options for the color and cut that would best suit you and your life. His name is David. He has taken me on a journey through my hair. I have given him my trust and bar-none, the outcome is far better than I could have ever asked of him. I h
Tesla Rocks! and not in a bad 80s hair band kind of way…I read all about Vanity Junkie on Citysearch (along with many other salons) and decided to give it a try. I typically go to local schools (Aveda and Paul Mitchell) for services as I don’t get to riled up about salons in general. I wanted a new look and wasn’t sure what it was exactly, just something different than I usually have. I walked into VJ was welcomed and waited for my appt on a comfy couch. Tesla greeted me and took time to discuss what we should do to change my look, she had a lot of good ideas. Her skills and personality made the appt fun and time flew. Now I have a great style that works for when I let my unruly wavy hair do its thing and can be sleekly styled with a flat iron. I will be back to see them! You should go too for a welcoming and fun salon experience without all the “we’re too hip and cool for you” attitude of salons in the Pearl or downtown…Next time I am asking about the Bar mentioned in other revi
