Where is the Best Hair Salon in San Francisco, California?
I had been hopping around from place to place, trying different stylists, cuts, etc. Not happy at all. I tried this place because I pass by it on my way to work. I was SO HAPPY I did, Debra takes care of my hair. I have never been really happy when I left a salon before. Now I leave feeling great. I get tons of compliments on the color, the cut, the style. Debra is the sweetest person ever, she will do your hair right. If you tell her what you want, she will listen, she may suggest something and I say, please take her advice. She knows what she is doing. I would encourage anyone NOT happy with their current “do” to check out G Squared. Pros + great atmosphere, friendly stylists & staffCons – none

Gene is not only an amazing hair stylist and color expert, but he is the owner of this salon, and is an amazing guy to boot! I just read a review someone wrote on 6/7/07 who rated this #1 salon in town a 1-star salon, and I wanted to set the records straight. The staff has been extremely friendly to me, and it’s been a great experience thus far! For the last 2 years, I’ve been going to Gene for my hair cut, and yes, he is booked 4-6 weeks in advance for optimal appointment slots. And yes, all the stylists are busy because they are excellent at what they do. Gene is honest and forthright about what he thinks looks good on his clients — and I for one, appreciate his candor. He advises for and against certain cuts that I am considering, and ends up giving me a fabulous cut every time. He is also such a caring person that he ran out and fed the meter for me (with his quarters, not mine) the last time I was there to make sure that my car won’t get towed.
