Where is the Best Hair Salon in New York, New York?
I always have a little anxiety pre-first time visit at a new salon. I was immediately put at ease when I walked in- what a friendly, fabulous receptionist! I worked in customer service for many years, and I really appreciate being treated so well. I felt like I’d been coming here for years. I got there early, and was still seen almost immediately after I arrived. I never felt as if they stylists were rushed or that I wasn’t being given their full attention, even though it was a busy Saturday.Not once in 25 years of getting my haircut have I ever had a stylist show the genuine interest and concern in making me look my best, that these two did! I only wish I’d found Bodhi sooner…so I would not have suffered as long as I did with unmanageable, dry hair that didn’t suit my style or personality. Adeline discussed at great length with me what would look best for me, while also really listening to what I wanted. My color looks AMAZING! I’ve received so many compliments – My boyfriend say
I went Jill for the first time 2 weeks ago and I LOVE my hair! I got there a few minutes early and she was able to start right away. I have curly hair, and she gave me a very versatile haircut that looks so chic when straight and very healthy and bouncy when i let it curl. She just layered it very well, took her time no rush.I asked for some natural looking highlights (like if the sun had done it i said), and she gave me these wonderful highlights that just made my overall color so much warmer and subtle but it’s not obvious, eactly what i wanted.She was very sweet and the place is very cute, just a couple of blocks from the L train to Bedford.The Haircut was $85 and the highlights for the full head were $165. Which I think is very decent, especially when you leave so happy. I mean why pay over 100 for a junior at some hot spot when you can get a master for such a good price.For the last year and a half i’ve been looking ever since my hairstylist retired. HI EVERYONE, THIS IS TERESA. I JUST WANTED TO CLEAR THE AIR. KARA IS NO LONGER AT THE SALON. ANYONE TRYING TO FIND HER I’M SURE SHE’LL BE GETTING IN TOUCH WITH YOU SOON. KARA SEEMS TO THINK THERE ARE REVIEWS BEING WRITTEN ABOUT HER. I’M SORRY SHE FEELS THAT WAY. TRUST ME WE’RE ALL ADULTS HERE, AND REALLY HAVE NO TIME FOR ANY CHILDISH BEHAVIOR.I JUST WANTED EVERYONE TO KNOW A FEW THINGS. I’M SURE ALOT OF KARA’S CLIENST HAVE HAD AN EAR FULL ABOUT THE SALON, MYSELF, AND ALL KARA HAD DONE FOR ME. WHEN I WENT OUT ON MARTENITY MY ENTIRE STAFF INCLUDING KARA REALLY TOOK CHARGE AND RAN THE SHOP FOR ME, AND FOR THAT I WILL ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL.. ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE THAT WAS SAID ABOUT ME IS THERE ARE 3 SIDES TO A STORY. I HOPE YOU WON’T JUDGE THE SALON OR MYSELF BASED ONE SIDE. my coworker recommended to go to this spa to get massage and facial by Ela. I took couple friends with me: We had facial by Ela and Marta which was very different from other places. They really focus on your skin and recommend products depending on your skin type. This facial and products i had is already working perfectly for me and my friends. They have their own line : cleanser and fruit toner is amazing! After facials we had 60 min massage with : Susan, Crystal and Nadia. All of us were very happy and relaxed after. After we finished our day with manicures by: Viorica, Marina and Margarita. They really take time to clean and massage hands. The manicure takes about 30 min which is amazing. Overall the service was amazing from the minute you walk into the spa the front desk girls are very welcomming to offer tea or coffee before you start your treatments. I highly recommend to go their and relax from busy new york lifestyle.
From a stylist’s perspective, Arrojo is an excellent salon. They have amazing continuing education progammes, a very professional staff that make the salon have a friendly atmosphere. The stylists are very talented providing thorough consultations and so making clients feel certainly at ease.
