Where is the Best Hair Salon in Detroit, Michigan?
This is by far… the best hair salon I’ve ever been to !! Genuine concerns for their clients needs.Very professional qualified stylists coupled with freindly warm support staff makes this salon my favorite. So…I have been going to Windsor Canada to get my hair cut for the last few years. For about the last year or so, I have been wondering if it is worth it. The time commitment, withering financial benefits, & so-so hair cuts from going to Canada led me to decide to try something closer to home. Wow…what a scary decision. Shoot…it’s only hair right…it will grow! I found Jenny’s Salon on CitySearch and decided to give it a try. Holy Cow! I finally had a stylist who paid 100% attention to me & my hair as opposed to answering the phone or participating with other conversations in the Salon. And even better, I got the best cut I have had in a very very long time! Jenny did exactly what I have been asking the guy from Canada to do for over a year. My hair is a bit shorter than I normally wear it…but that is mainly my fault. Jenny & I wil know better next time…and there WILL be a next time! I am hooked! On my 1 visit I I told the stylist what I wanted,and the haircut cute enough for me to walk out satisfied.On the 2 return,I was appointed to a stylist who did not listen to my instructions for my hair.She was distracted and cold,and said she’d “spice up the haircut a little bit”.When the cut was finished,it was not what I asked for-much more”spicey”than we discussed.She did not turn me,so I could not see what she was doing in the back of my hair,& that ruined my hair.You can tell by the cut that she was able to do her job- the cut would be nice on someone else.It is not what I asked for,and not my taste.The manager said their policy does not allow reimbursements,& bent the rules by sending me a voucher for a free haircut @ my next visit; a waste of her time and my $50.Pros + CLEAN, ATTRACTIVE, ONTIMECons – BAD LISTENERS, POOR POLICIES
