Where is the Best Hair Salon in Charlotte, North Carolina?
I moved to Charlotte about two years ago. The greatest angst I had with my move was the process of finding a new hair stylist. My ?hair? directly affects my moods and my level of self confidence about myself. I admit that I have a very personal relationship with my hair?I never feel well groomed if I?ve had a bad haircut. My search to find a new stylist in Charlotte became a real nightmare for me. Before coming to MeI, I had used two different stylists and in both cases, it was a disaster. The day I walked into Mel?s salon, I had a bad haircut that aged me by 10 years and a color that was not complementary to my skin tone. I am so thankful I found Mel?.she is my ideal of ?perfection?. From my first visit, Mel carefully listened and made recommendations that made sense to me. I left the salon, looking better than I had in two years. She has tamed my uncontrollable hair, including my unruly cowlicks and makes me feel wonderful. Mel is a smart, extremely professional stylist who cares
I had been spoiled when I moved here from Washington DC. My best friend there is a top stylist that is booked months in advance with all the “Who’s Who” of the DC metro area. So for the first few years I would fly back on E-savers for her to do my hair, but that became too inconvenient. I started searching and after TONS of trial and error, I finally found Jason at Varji. Both the south park location and the Morehead street location are nice. Jason mainly works at Morehead which works best for my Elizabeth location. However I have zero hesitation to travel to South Park when he is there. He takes the time to listen and his cut is fantastic. After my second visit he had my color down perfectly (he had to fix a mess I brought him the first visit). He really funny and kind, and makes you feel right at home. I have had several strangers stop me and ask me about my cut since I started seeing him in November. After my very first visit, my mother took one look at the results and bo
I’ve been going to this salon since they first opened and have seen quite a few different stylists there, all of whom have been excellent. I have recommended several of my friends and family members and they too have enjoyed their experiences, and have been pleased with their hair. After recently having recommended this salon to a co-worker, I was curious to see when she was planning on getting her hair done, (since they have a great referral program, I wanted to see if I could get credit for her on my account before my next appointment…) Well, she informed me she was hesitant to schedule an appointment because of some of the reviews left on this websight… After having read over the posts myself, I felt that as a loyal client I should assert myself and state that while most others seem to agree that this is a quality salon, the few negative comments left may very well be valid, but have not been my experience or that of anyone I know to go here. I’m sure they have their off days
