Where is the Best Hair Salon in Baltimore, Maryland?
I have been going to Teri for about five years now and have never walked out of the salon feeling anything except pleased. Teri styles my entire families hair and I have yet to hear a complaint. My hair is thick and curly but Teri always seems to make it smooth and sleek time after time. When I want to try something different Teri listens to me but also guides me in a direction that will work with my hair type and life style. The color is always amazing but natural. I get so many compliments on my hair and it doesnt seem to matter if I just had it done or if I’m in need of a hair cut and touch-up. Teri not only is the best stylist I have ever had, but she is also a great friend and person to talk with. I love the entire experience when I see Teri and know that the end result will be a fabulous haircut and color every single time. Teri knows what she is doing and I will go to her as long as she styles hair. SHE IS THE BEST, JUST ASK MY ENTIRE FAMILY!!!!!!!!Pros + Great Style and Col
The receptionist made a color appointment for 3pm on a Saturday. They called me up the same day and asked if I could reschedule (I listended to my voicemail while I was driving there). I called them up and told them that I have a baby and couldn’t reschedule for a weekday (my schedule just doesn’t allow for it). They told me to come in – Katia (spell?) had a attitude with ME (even though she should have had it out for the receptionist who scheduled me in). Anyway, she rushed on my color and CUT BANGS IN MY HAIR. I haven’t been back since. Go to Jessica Hooper at HairAfter in Westminster, MD. I’ve been pleased since day one. She awesome and they don’t over charge like Uno. Oh – My sister had Uno do her hair once and he charged her $275! She is in college and couldn’t afford it, but he made her feel obligated. Pros + They can cut hair goodCons – Very Expensive (ask for price before going!), Mean Staff, 80’s Bangs 🙁
Being in the computer technology field I often find myself tired of the hectic pace that living in the fast lane/rat race delivers day in and day out. Some days I just feel worn out, fed up, exhausted and it starts to show on my face and my skin. That?s when I know I need to book a facial with Evelyn Frank at Brocatos Studio of Hair Design in Baltimore. Evelyn gives me a break from the real world-her facials are amazing. Evelyn is impeccably groomed, warm and friendly. She is a stickler for cleanliness and sanitation. She keeps a clean table and washes her hands before she begins touching your face. Evelyn’s aesthetician area in the salon is a very comfortable, soothing, calm and relaxing space.I always ask Evelyn for her advice and do not pick which facial I will have, she?s a professional and one look at my skin she knows exactly what it needs. Normally she cleans any makeup off (If I wear any to the treatment) follows it with steam, exfoliation, extraction, a few creams, a
I’ve only been in Baltimore a few years but have been bouncing around between stylists for various reasons. A friend of mine had been badgering me to see Danny for a few months and I am the happiest girl in the world that I did. I love the studio, its not far from my house, which is a plus but its also got this awesome vibe when you step in the door. Fortunately for me, they do late appointments, that’s been an issue with other places, the stylist I want only works till 5 or 6 so I have find a way to squeeze a cut in during lunch which is always rushed and unsatisfying.Cut back to my haircut. I love Danny. HE LISTENED TO ME!!!! My hair was a mess, I’d neglected it for months and needed someone with a good eye to save it. All I wanted was straight bangs and from him to clean up the layers that were buried under whatever I was passing for a hairstyle. So before I even really said anything beyond that he explained what he thought would work and it turned out amazing, better than I im
I recently moved into the area & needed to find a stylist who cut very well. I have Asian hair, which is straight, thick, & easily dry, so my hair is unforgiving of bad cuts. I called Symmetry after reading online reviews & asked for a stylist up to the task. The person on the phone was friendly & recommended 2 stylists. Each stylist charged diff. fees, starting at $45 for a cut/style. Since I’m a recent graduate w/ a skimpy bank acct, I opted for the stylist w/ a lower fee. The salon was pretty sedate-looking from the outside, but inside it’s quite nice. They had cookies & coffee out for folks to try. The facilities were very clean & I was greeted immediately upon arrival. All staff had really nice looking hair, which might inspire customers. I’m pretty low maintanence w/ my hair, so I just admired other people’s courageous style.I arrived early for my appt & prepared to wait, trying not to indulge in cookies. Lucky for me, my stylist — Katie, was ready ahead of schedule & came t
