Where is the Best Hair Removal in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
I have been seeing Christy for awhile now for my eyebrow and bikini waxes. I remember when I first came into future concepts I wanted to come in for just a bikini wax and I was very nervous, because I had never gotten one before. But as soon as Christy came out into the waiting room to call me back with her very welcoming smile all my butterflies went away. Not only did Christy make my first bikini wax as painless as she could but she also did not make me feel awkward which I greatly appreciated. Christy also goes above and beyond what she should do. When I came just for a bikini wax that day Christy took a look at my eyebrows, and offered to clean up my eyebrows with no extra charge. Now when I come in I get both bikini and eyebrow waxes. And my eyebrows have never looked better, and my friends always comment on how perfect they look. My husband and I have been tanning at Studio Tan for over 10 years, even when Jill was in her old location. We enjoy the relaxed atmoshpere, the clean beds and the friendly staff. I would, and have recommended Studio Tan to many friends. We will be going again this year prior to our annual winter vacation to a tropical location. Okay let me start by saying I’ve had about 10 brazillians done at this salon, which was recommended to me by a friend. Overall I think this salon is a treasure, I always find a parking spot right in front, they can always fit me in the day I call, and I’m in and out of there in 10-15 minutes. HOWEVER, I have noticed some major differences in the quality of work done by the girls there. Chris is by far the best I have seen, she takes a minute or two longer than the others but it’s totally worth it. Not all of them will ask if you’d like to flip over but if you ask them they’re, in my experience, more than happy to do it. Avoid Angelica, who doesn’t take pride in her work and makes you hold your own skin taught. Oh, and remember to ask for a packet of Finipil if they forget to give you one, that stuff is the best. This was my first visit to Accolades and after doing a lot of searching on Citysearch and Yelp, I figured that all the good reviews had to mean something. Upon arriving, I was greeted and offered an espresso which I gladly enjoyed while I waited (I arrived 20 minutes early). I had an appointment with David, and he exceeded my expectations. I have always had dirty/darker blonde hair, but since it has gotten even darker in recent years, I decided to do something different with this color. I was very apprehensive, but after talking with David about what hair color would be right for me, we decided to go brunette. While I was very nervous, I am glad I trusted David’s advice, because I love the new color! David is extremely knowledgable and down to earth, and he even threw in a free chair/foot bath massage, and facial! All that with my full hair color was only $79! RN injector was professional and very knowledgeable. Although I only had a botox treatment this trip, we discussed other treatments (injectables) and it was very clear this professional knew what she was doing. She has been trained well. I used to drive to Wayzata but after my first experience will return…and I love the specials like the $10 unit Wednesdays, I hope they keep doing it. A small but important perk was she offered a Jane Iredale makeup “touch up” after my treatment so I didn’t have to walk out in public with the nearly-unnoticable-but-I-still-know treatment signs.
