Where is the Best Hair Color in Portland, Oregon?
I went to Belle Epoque in search of a new salon because I wasn’t very happy with my current stylist. Marisa took me as a walk-in client and was very welcoming. Marisa did a very in-depth consultation with me before she even touched my hair so she knew exactly what I wanted done with it. I was tired of having the yellow/brass type blonde and that always seemed to be what I got from other places. This blonde turned out to be a golden more natural blonde (similar to the highlights you’d get after being in the sun). I’m so happy to have found a new stylist in Marisa. I highly recommend her! She listens closely to what you want while also giving input on what she things, is very cool, funny and makes you feel relaxed and at ease when you’re in her chair. Definitely give her a shot – you won’t be disappointed. Pros + Very cute salon, beautiful hair color, friendly stylists, great location, clean place, good pricing!Cons – None!
This past Autumn, many of Portland’s Yuko clients were frantic to learn that Ziva’s very own Kristoffer, super best Yuko dude in Portland, was departing Ziva for the East coast. Over the past 2 months, as I kept staring at my 4 inches of emerging silver frizz, I wrung my hands, read tons of on-line reviews about other Yuko trained stylists in Portland but remained paralized by intertia and fear of a ‘blind date’ with an unknown, chemical welding stylist. My fear of the unknown included the new Yuko stylist at Ziva as well. But, at least I knew that she had enjoyed the opportunity of working with Kristoffer prior to his departure. So, I called Joe Snell, owner and manager, and explained my fears;…broken hair, burned head and escalated cost due to less experienced technician working slower (Kris was VERY quick and productive). He was terrific. Invited me in to visit with Devon so that I would be familiar wih her prior to making a commitment and assured me my cost would remian th
I had the pleasure of visiting Ritual Hair Design for the first time this past week for hair coloring and cut, and eyebrow waxing services. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone trying to find a new ?home? for your salon needs. Having just recently moved to Oregon, leaving behind my previous hair stylist of 5 years, I was a bit nervous when I walked in and wasn?t sure what to expect. Finding a new salon that you can trust for great service can be just as challenging as finding a new doctor or daycare for your children. I was pleasantly surprised to find it to be a warm and inviting place with excellent customer service. Shawn took great care of me with my waxing service, and Kim did an outstanding job with both my hair color and cut. And it wasn?t just the great quality I was impressed with. Kim took the time to make sure my color was done right and the care to ensure I got the hair style I wanted. And she did this all while ensuring that any new customers that entered the door were
I never write reviews but I was surprised that no one has ever written a review mentioning Man so I decided to write one now..I’ve been coming to Poshe Salon since they have opened(almost 5 years now) and Man (pronounced mON) was the very first person I was scheduled with and eversince then.. I never tried anyone else. I get everything done by Man; nails and waxing (eyebrows, underarms, bikini.. the whole shabang). Let me tell you.. it is HARD finding the right place to get nails/waxing done. I’m asian so my eyebrows grow differently than others and if you don’t have the right experience with waxing asian eyebrows then it turns out pretty bad. The nails ALWAYS turn outs out great, most of the time I see people who get their nails done at other places.. turn out to look tacky.Besides having nails/waxing done by Man, I come to Tony for hair cuts/bang trims. He’s really nice and does a pretty good job. It’s hard for me to trust people with my hair.. (I usually get my hair done in Cal
