Where is the Best Hair Color in Dallas, Texas?
I went in for a hair cut, color and makeup. I live 2 hours away and I got a little lost on my way over to the salon and I arrived about 30 minutes late to my appointment. Unfortunately the person who was going to cut my hair was already cutting someone elses hair and everything went completely off track.Even though it was my fault everyone who worked there was extremely nice and apologetic. They tried everything they could to work me into their very busy schedule and finally sent me to their location on KNOX St. to get my hair cut. The man who cut my hair named Colby gave me the best haircut I have ever been given. He even styled my hair, although I really didn’t like the style, I loved the cut.Next I went back to the Salon at Snider Plaza and they tried everything they could to fit me in for a cut. Unfortunately the very nice and attentive girl at the front desk could not fit me into the schedule. So I made another appointment for next week and I will update with how my next app
I went to a little Asian nail place to get my acrylics done qnd they almost ruined my nails so I called tangerine and found out that the coppell location does acrylics as well which I didn’t know otherwise I would have just gone there in the first place. I wen to Bridey and I have to say she did an amazing job. Sh even does different color acrylics so the polish will neve peel! My daughter now wants to get bright pink ones for the summer. She fixed the nails that had been done and I will be goin back to her from now on. I just wish I would have known that that service was offered in the first place. I checked the websifht and it wasn’t on there so anyone would assume it wasn’t offered.
My search for a great colorist and stylist is over!! Tim is perfect – he listens carefully to what his clients want, but is willing to contribute his professional suggestions. The best thing – every client in there had completely different (but equally beautiful) looks – from edgy, precision cuts w/ unconventional color to more traditional cuts and natural/corrective color (me :)) this place seems to do it all and do it well. Loved, loved, loved Mike, but the salon as a whole is a friendly professional and peaceful place. I can’t wait for my next appointment.Pros + Real Pros at Travis UptownCons – None
My spa day was rather enjoyable, but I’d done a 2-hour boot camp the day before, so the masseuse totally hurt me! 🙁 It was a good hurt sometimes, and I even told her about my previous excursions, but she seemed determined to squash out those toxins from my back and shoulders. Sometimes it was quite uncomfortable, but I do feel tons better faster than I would have without the massage. My facial was okay…the lady claimed that Red Door doesn’t allow the use of an extractor for white/blackheads, but somehow I have a shallow scab on my nose where she’d been working…hmmm…I don’t think that was done with a fingernail!! But my face did feel really good and polished afterward–I was glowing. 🙂 My nail artist was professional and efficient–my nails look excellent, and she even gave me a few pointers on how to prolong the shine. My day was fun, and I loved the warmed massage tables and warm towels. I didn’t like how thin the walls were, though–the Cheesecake Factory is right next to the
My mother owns her own salon in Lake Whitney, so the drive down there isn’t realistic for a haircut. I have been getting my hair cut in DFW at every type of salon, stylist, barber shop, etc… that you could even imagine for the past 12 years. All of this time, I havent been able to find one particular stylist that I ever went back to. It seemed that no one would listen to what I wanted, but instead would cut my hair the way they wanted, or knew how to cut men’s hair. NOT THE CASE HERE!! Kaivan and Robin were not only very willing to share their opinions about my (at the time I had cut my own hair do to me not being satisfied with other people doing it) hair, and how a different shape could bring out other features in my face if it were taken out a little here, and thinned here, etc… Not sure if you have ever had someone be truthful with you, but at the time, I had not, but it was exactly what I was looking for, and needed. I appreciated their honesty so much, I decided to go try
