Where is the Best Hair Color in Charlotte, North Carolina?
After moving from CA 2yrs ago I thought I would never find anyone who could highlight my hair the way I am used to having it done. I have been to tons of salons in Charlotte and have never been back to the same stylist more than 2x. My last and final attempt was at All About You Salon. Shannon listened to everything that I told her about my hair and she did an amazing job on my highlight. The color is just stunning. No golds, yellows, brassiness or red. She is such a nice person and I have already made my next appt. with her. HIGHLY recommend.Pros + EverythingCons – Nothing
Prior to going to Shine, I got my hair cut at a number of small, non-appointment hair salon chains. About a year ago I randomly called Shine and asked for an appointment because of its close proximity to my house and good feedback I heard from others. I got an appointment with Mark Gordon and I’ve been going there to see Mark every 2 weeks since then. Mark is very friendly and does a great job of styling my hair. The staff at the salon makes you feel like you are part of their family – part of the reason why I keep going back. The services and products offered by Shine are a good value for their price. Undoubtedly, I would recommend Mark at Shine to anyone who is looking for a great salon to go to on a regular basis.Pros + Coffee, Soda, and Wine offered to customesr, friendly staff, great location in the heart of Plaza Midwood
Moving from New York to North Carolina in June 2008 was a BIG change. I was terriffied to have anyone touch my hair. Having the same person cut/style/color my hair for the past 20 years – I was quite nervous. So, going 5 months with bad hair, North Carolina sun damage and plenty of pony tail days, my daughter and I decided it was time – not to fly back to New York for an emergency hair overhaul, but to try a recommended salon. We arrived and EVERYONE was so friendly and sincere. They made us feel like we have been going to Savvy for years. The stylist looked over my hair, asked what I was wanting to achieve and discussed everything she was going to do. Gave an amazing hair wash and scalp massage. She explained simple solutions to make my hair look healthier, explained every detail along the way, even down to how to properly blowdry it. I was totally impressed. The BEST part of all: My fabulous new hair style. My hair NEVER looked so shiny, healthy and felt this soft! I LOVE
Having naturally curly hair can be a nightmare when it comes to chosing a hair stylist, however very shortly after moving to Charlotte- I found Marc! After about a year of cuts, Marc left his previous place of employment and left me dumbfounded! After years of searching and finally giving up, a friend of mine located Marc which sent me to Charles Grayson. I had never heard of the spa/salon, but they were very quick in booking a much missed appointment with my long lost Marc! I have only used the salon services, but I am always greated with a smile and treated so kind. If you have curly hair, I would definitley recommend giving Marc a try. Having very long curly hair himself, Marc knows what it takes to cut the curls and WILL NOT allow you to get a cut that your hair won’t handle. I love and trust Marc and look forward to trying some of the other services that Charles Grayson offers.
Those in need of a luxury before the holidays to “de-stress” from the frantic holiday shopping must pay a visit to Synergy Salon. I work a busy job in an intense environment and book my appointments generally after work and because Synergy stays open pretty late, it helps especially when I need more leeway on time.I haven’t been so happy with a place since arriving here! My son and daughter actually like coming along and as a single mother, its great! The receptionist makes sure that they stay entertained while the stylist stays focused on me. I’ve already booked my next appointment 😉
