Where is the Best Hair Color in Austin, Texas?

I highly recommend hair stylist Emily Hatfield for a haircut and/or color. Finally, after 5 years of being in the Austin area, I have found a true expert and professional in the hair industry. I have long, straight, heavy hair; that I find sometimes, female stylists have a hard time handling. I’m typically open to whatever hair cutting technique the stylist wants to use, as long as they ‘keep the length’ 😉 …but extremely picky when choosing color …having dark brown hair, it’s easy to look like a zebra. Emily immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease with her warm, yet outgoing personality, and vast knowledge of hair color and care products. I loved that I could leave so much of the decision making up to her, and came out looking like a million bucks. I live and work in Round Rock, so when my appointment went a little past 8pm, I was surprised and delighted at how welcome the staff still made me feel; and didn’t try to rush me out. Joshua is professional and personable. He listened to what I wanted and did not consider my hair finished until I was satisfied. He went above and beyond what was expected, and my hair looks great! I would recommend him to anyone. His technique was flawless, and his salon is very warm and welcoming.Josh, you rock!Pros + convenient location, nice ambience, plenty of parkingCons – none

I started going to Lisa when she was at a salon off Slaughter and Manchaca. She was the first person who could make my naturally wavey hair work for me. She’s also the very first person I trusted to color my hair. She moved to Salon Bali (still in South Austin) and I moved with her. She was so kind as to continue to provide me with the details of her move. I’ve been to see her at Salon Sirrah when I was working up north. Now that I am working and living in South Austin it has become to time and gas consuming to travel all the way up. If I wasn’t in such a financial crunch right now I would continue to travel north to see her. I reccommend anyone to visit Salon Sirrah and ask for Lisa Lehmann!Pros + Expert with color and precision cutsCons – North location is too far for me to drive

I was surprised to see the last reviews–MY experience was fantastic–I am PLEASED with both my cut and color. I found Orbit by searching “salons specializing in trendy cuts”. I spoke to the receptionist who was very polite. I was looking to make a drastic change (drastic for me anyway) and I shared my thoughts with her and she quickly and confidently recommended someone for the job. When I got there, the customer service was awesome. They offered me a beverage and my stylist wasn’t running behind which I hate about most places I have had my hair done. Jessica was great. She was friendly and we seemed to have some common personality traits. I consider getting my hair done part of “my time” and I like to relax and enjoy myself. I usually like to read and although we chatted, she also gave me some time to myself to read my book and I appreciated that. Like one of the last reviewers I am pretty particular about my hair. This is THE HAPPIEST I have been in a VERY long time. Jes
