Where is the Best Hair Color in Austin, Texas?
In an effort to make me happy, the schedulers often ask me when I would like to come and somehow make it happen at the last minute. This translates to some pretty tense and rushed staff members trying to get me through an already full schedule. I wish they front desk would be more realistic and say, “Hey, we are full, come in next week”. I could easily handle that. The ultimate result, though was that my color and cut looked great..but I felt sort of “violated” by the rush rush of the service and the fast intense energy of the colorist and stylist. BUT , YES, I got compliments afterwards from folks about my hair as usual.Pros + quality color and cutsCons – taking on too many clients?
I got word of this place by the Groupon of the day. I had my best friend in town from FL, so we wanted to pamper ourselves. I called about 2 weeks in advance for a Jan. 2nd appointment. I had no problems and the person was very pleasant at the Lamar location. She mentioned we would receive a call to confirm our appointments. I didn’t get one and figured due to New Year’s Day, it might have been missed. I called before our scheduled time on Jan. 2nd to find out she booked it for Feb. 2nd. I was very distraught and unhappy about this mistake. The lady on the phone was very polite and did what she could to save the situation by trying to rebook. The times were inconvenient for the next day. We figured out a time to reschedule but I had to bring up if there’s anything she could do since we were so inconvenienced. She finally gave us some free add on and $10 off. We ended having to go to this location vs the Lamar. In the end, we were satisfied. I had one of the best massages by David a
I recently decided to make a change to my hair style after 12 years of having LONG parted down the middle hair. I have naturally curly hair; not wavy but curly, like spiral curly hair and I would straighten it with a ceramic flat iron at least 3 to 4 times a week. As you can imagine, my hair was constantly fried at the ends. I had stopped seeing my stylist of 4 years because she moved to another city and so I was on lookout for someone new. I had gone to several stylists that friends recommended and although they did a decent job trimming my hair; I never found someone that I wanted to see again. Then I met Rick. I had never been to Bob salon but read the reviews on here so I decided to give it a shot. I told him that, although I LOVED my long hair, I felt it was time for a change. I was worried I would hate having short hair (and to me shoulder length is short) and that it would look horrible on me. Rick explained that I didn’t have to do a boring bob and that by cutting off

Blondie is the best. Bar none. All I can say is that I wish I had found her a few days ago. Background: I’ve had multiple spiral perms in my life. My hair perms very well and I have had really great results in the past. I wanted to go in and get a spiral perm on my long hair to create a nice, well styled look. Having such long, straight hair just wasn’t working for me. The woman I used to get my hair permed from was in another state, so I did some homework (apparently not enough!) and made an appointment with a stylist that came highly recommended from a friend. The perm came out horribly! My hair was fried and lightened no less than 4 to 6 shades. The hair didn’t curl, it crimped and singed. I tried to be zen about it… I mean, we all know that perms don’t always turn out and that sometimes if you give them a day or so they improve… well, by late last night it was apparent that wasn’t going to happen. The texture didn’t feel right. It didn’t feel like just-permed hair
