Where is the Best Group Dining in Oxnard, California?
This is some of the best BBQ around! They have all sorts of meatsthey barbeque and it is all wonderful. Do not miss the peanut coleslawor the onion rings- they are both superb. If you doubt the greatnessof this establishment- just drive by on a Friday night and lookat the people waiting out front! They do not take reservationsexcept for large groups; we beat the crowds by going early (4-4:30)and catching a movie afterwards. The desserts are wonderful, too.
If you’re craving some good pub dishes like fish & chips, steak and mushroom pie, etc, then this is your place. We eat here regularly, and enjoy many of the dishes. Chicken curry over french fries or rice is a staple, as is sourdough melt (hamburger) with bacon (yum). Scotch egg is an awesome cocktail snack. Salads and soups are really good too. Nothing glamorous or fancy about the food, but the dishes metnioned above are excellent. Fries are the best around.
