Where is the Best Group Dining in Jacksonville, Florida?
I tried the sirloin and speidino. The scallops (dipped in breadcrumbs, panfried in butter and drizzled with a lemon-cheese sauce) was almost orgasmic. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the service was wonderful. Come early and you won’t wait (opens at 4). My favorite restaurant in Jacksonville, well worth our 75 mile dive from Waycross! I just read the other review about the credit card fraud and don’t know what that’s all about. Honestly it sounds like an isolated incident and a held grudge because I highly doubt this restaurant has been in business as long as it has with blatantly illegal practices. Restaurant reviews in general are negative because only the people with bad experiences feel the need to voice their opinions out loud, so I want to speak on behalf of the positive.My family and I have been going to this restaurant for many many years because we feel it is the best overall Japanese restaurant in town. We usually sit on the hibachi side (although sometimes the sushi bar if it’s just my wife and me) because the kids love seeing their food cooked in front of them. They also love feeding the fish out in the pond, it’s become like a tradition for them. The food is always great and prices are reasonable. This is good if you’re dying for southern italian dishes and need someting close. I grew up near a ‘little italy’ and we have nothing even close in jax fl, but this comes as close as it gets. Bucca is a chain but tastes better than most chains i’ve been to. Pros + Good Southern Italian FoodCons – Somewhat pricey
