Where is the Best Group Dining in Indianapolis, Indiana?
We were guests so didn’t have to pay the premium prices. The smallest steak was the 8 oz. filet mignon which I ordered. It came with with either bean soup or tomato juice (yes, plain old tomato juice!) choice of potato and basket of rolls. Salad was ala carte. My girlfriend and I were surprised by my Uncle and taken out here when we came into town. We didn’t know we were coming to such a nice place and were underdressed and taken aback. I felt bad because I felt it was a very nice place, but the wait staff made us feel very comfortable. I love that they bring out cuts of meat and seafood on a cart to your table to show you ahead of time. The staff was VERY well prepared and willing to answer any and all questions and made some great reccomendations. The meats that we all got were probably one of, if not THE, best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been in some very fine restaurants. The atmosphere is very intriguing and intimate. Very classy yet very comfortable. I would reccomend to anybody and everybody.Pros + EXCELLENT Service, Meats, AmbienceCons – A bit pricey, but worth it
I’ve only been to the downtown location based on some recommendations by friends. The food was just ok, not great. I ordered whole wheat pasta in place of regular, which is usually quite good at other restaurants I go to, but this wheat pasta was like cardboard. I would stick with the regular next time, as my friend’s dish was much better. I’d like to go back for dessert, the chocolate cake looked delicious. Marley at 04:07 PM on 04/09/08
