Where is the Best Group Dining in Charlotte, North Carolina?
Rodi has wonderful food, great service, a funky atmosphere, and great music. The owner has a true love of music and is especially fond of local and regional artists. This is one of my favorite restaurants and is well worth a drive from Charlotte. So get your nose out of the air, drive across the county line , and check it out. You will not be sorry. The food is exceptional and it’s a great place to hear music, look at artwork, and relax.Pros + great food, atmosphere, musicCons – none
Wolfman has some of the best pizza in Charlotte and it is great because they have regular pizzas and if you like things a little on the different side, they have a great selection of unusual pizza too. Staff is great, very friendly and appropriately attentive without intruding. Wolfman has held it’s own in Charlotte for some time and this is why. Great Food, Great Service, Great Value for what you get. We will continue to support them!Pros + Fabulous PizzaCons – Little noisy for my taste but hey it’s a pizza restaurant
This place well…the food is fabulous, the outdoor seating is one of the best in Charlotte, the service was pretty bad. As the previous person wrote…be prepared to wait for quite some time for a table if there is warm weather. Although while you wait you can order a drink and stand/sit outside enjoying the weather and people watching. The food was exemplary for this type of restaurant. I highly recommend the Bacon Wrapped Scallions or the Blackened Soft Tacos. Both were a great twist on an old favorite. However the service was horrible, the waitress spent alot of time talking to the next table about how “hot” their son was. Before we were seated they attempted to make 3 people share a menu because they were running low and then only gave us 2 sets of silverware and 2 napkins for 3 people. One of the busboy/hosts pointed his finger at us and gave an attitude when we asked for more silverware. The bartender was very rude he never once smiled, asked us how we were or anything
Brought my mom and sister for brunch yesterday. Good thing we made a reservation. It was VERY crowded on a Sunday at 11:30. We were seated within 5 minutes but we did wait a while for our meal. We didn’t leave until 1pm. I was impressed with the large brunch selection. Mom had the bananas fosters french toast that she loved and sis enjoyed the eggs benedict. I had the mushroom fritata. Not as much flavor as i’d hoped but a little salt did the trick. We loved the little warm scone they offered us before the meal – buttery and sweet. Just slightly dissapointed with the wait for the meal (about 30 minutes) but there were some large parties in the room and the waitress was very attentive. I would certainly go back. Also, was sooo close to the East/West Light Rail. Pros + Decor, menu selectionCons – Wait times
