Where is the Best Group Dining in Charlotte, North Carolina?
This place has huge portions. Great atmosphere. Boston style Italian food. (Wicked awesome!). The owner, Joel is one of those people who remembers every customer who comes in a second time. Even on a busy Friday night, the service was fast.Kinda reminded me of ?Cheers? We had one small issue with our food (I guess I didn?t say no Mayo on my steak tip hoggie). They fixed me a new one before my wife?s food cooled down.I would highly recommend this place.Pros + This place has huge portions. Great atmosphere. Boston style Italian food. Cons – It has a non smoking bar. Eventhough there was great seating right outside.
Eds is the epitome of a neighborhood bar located in the mostly residential area of Dilworth. They have something on the menu to please just about anyone. Their burgers are great, all of their sandwiches have something to say for themselves and their newest addition “Fried green beans” are out of this world. The drink specials are as good as you are going to get in the city here. Almost every day you can get a domestic bottle/draft for $2, sometimes even cheaper. I know at one point they had $1.50 Coors drafts. Eds is a pretty big place but it does fill up quickly from Thurs-Sunday especially if a game is on they will be busy from 11am-close in most situations. They have plenty of televisions with various games. They have pool, juke box, checkers and darts. Friendly atmosphere, cheap drinks, good food…great recipe. Pros + Huge Menu, Cheap DrinksCons – Gets pretty crowded
Ok, I love going out to eat and the biggest thing that makes me come back is the service. I have gone to every Olive Garden in Charlotte and surrounding and this one is the best. The service is always good, and the food is actually cooked right and the order is correct everytime. I have had bad experiences a couple of the others in and around town and I will always go back to this one. The breadsticks are better there….seems like they have a little extra garlic. Lovely!!! Highly recommend the Minestrone soup. Best ever!
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. I had been a few times before, and have always adored it, and this time was no exception! We look very young for our age, and sometimes have a problem getting quality service. Here, were treated like royalty by our great waitress! My birthday fell on a Sunday, and we made reservations for that evening. When we got there, we realized we definitely didn’t need the reservations! There were only two other groups there in the entire restaurant! You’d think it’d have been quiet, but one of the groups was a noisy wedding shower, downstairs. It was definitely bearable, though. We got the entire shabang, with the salad (I got the mushroom salad… DELICIOUS!), cheese fondue (sharp cheddar), meat (which is absolutely amazing…) and chocolate turtle desert. I adore chocolate covered strawberries, and alwasy devour them quickly, and they offer to replenish the strawberries each time. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. There’
