Where is the Best Group Dining in Buffalo, New York?
My friend and I were staying the night in Buffalo after a Sabres game.We had just come from another local bar (with the name chocolate in it) where we we throughly disappointed!We walked into Mothers with NO expectations. The bar staff were amazing. My glass was never empty. The food menu had so many great options, it was difficult for me to make my final decision. That being said, my friend and I took our meals back to our Hotel to enjoy. Mouthwatering. I look forward to going again. Pros + Excellent Service/Very Attentive Bar Staff
This place was great, we came up to Buffalo for the Wing Festival, so naturally we tried the wings. Although the hot sauce is Franks Red Hot, the wings were out of this world they were crispy and hot. We ended up returning to the Pearl Street Grill two more times during our visit. The brewery had some of the best beers! This was also the only place to get food and drinks on a Sunday night, Buffalo shuts down around 8 on Sundays! This place always has a different crowd whether it’s people watching football, an after-work crowd or tourists like us. I would definitely come here again. The staff was friendly and helpful. Pros + The staff, beer and wings!
Well my family and myself have been visiting The Grapevine Restaurant in Amherst for many years. We find the service to be awesome and the food great! The value and quality makes this our favorite restaurant. And I can’t forget to mention the saltwater fish tanks. Enough about the restaurant, now there is the catering department! I attended a wedding at The Ellicott Creek Fire Hall??? My expectations were not very high until I walked in and found this to be not your average fire company-a banquet room tucked away in the back of a fire hall? Yes and the decorations awesome!! By my surprise, I was greeted by a hostess at a wedding? As I questioned this the hostess replied ” Enjoy your evening and enjoy your experience that is by The Grapevine.” I was so excited and when I went to my table the experience began- I knew it was The Grapevine as many of the staff was from the restaurant. I was shocked by the service, food and the whole evening. Bar opened through the entire wedding. Specialty
I had not been to Towne since I moved away from Buffalo in the 80’s but on coming back, we dined at Towne to find that the food and service was just as good now as it was then. I have compared every Gyro I have eaten since to those that I had at Towne while I was in college. The wait staff still serves the best Gyros in Buffalo. The combination plate is not only a great way to taste some of the most popular menu items, but is also very filling, a challenge to complete. The lemon rice soup is a wonderful compliment to flavors of lamb and greek potatoes. I found the staff to not only be fast and efficient, but friendly and sociable as well. If you want world class cuisine with the service and comfort to match, at a reasonable price, in an easily accessible, comfortable setting, The Eagle House is the place for you!I made my first visit to the Eagle House 45 years ago, and today, I can guaranty you may order from the menu blindfolded, and enjoy every bite. That is how predictable the food is!The Eagle House management are sticklers for the quality and character of all the food they buy. Quite clearly cost is no object when it comes to freshness and grade. They are just plain fussy and the result is that everything is the absolute best!!
