Where is the Best Gold Diggers Goldmine in Los Angeles, California?
The receptionist assisted me with answering my questions when I called she said my facialist was great and gets booked fast, I thought we will see. Of course everyone knows the Four Seasons is the place to be in the city for cocktails and celebrity sites but I had no idea how comfy, cozy and personable the spa was. Waited in the lounge for my “dermal roller facial” a new treatment exclusively to the spa. Therapist would pass each other and say hello to each other and to guest and ask if we wanted water, tea or fruit. My facialist came around the corner with a smile like sunshine and introduced herself hello, I’m Jamilla. WoW! her skin was gorgeous I asked will my skin look like yours when I’m done? We both giggled :-). We went it a room called Gardenia she told me to make myself comfy and I did. Examining my skin with her warm&confident hands she asked me questions about my skin&daily maintenance which I was very impressed. Jamilla explained the derma roller facial was from leaf&rushe
We came, in, the hostess was extremely nice and helpful, i thought we were off to a good start. The seating was very crowded inside (outside was too hot) and we got to sit right next to these hollywood-esque actress type girls that talk about how cute boys were and doing their nails. pretty disturbing. The bread was stale and despite how hungry we were we gave up on it..anyway, our server(older asian woman) was the opposite of helpful so we flagged down another waitress who was kind enough to recommend some items. Our server took down the order. fast. And left. fast.. and avoided our table, didn’t ask how anything was, and the nice busser did just about everything. We did enjoy the food, my date had a pasta with mushrooms and other veggies that was the perfect dish..Bottom line, the food was enjoyable, but some of the kind hardworking staff was compensating for what the lazy ones didn’t want to take care of.,… which never looks good. Nor does a little hollywood brat talking about
Here’s an update to our experience at Mastro’s on May 23. I finally received a call from the manager of Mastro’s, Beverly Hills, albeit 3 days after I initially spoke with someone about our issue, and after I sent the corporate office a scathing email about our experience. It seems he did not get the message from the person who initially answered my call, but he did receive my email. I had a good conversation with him about the incident, and received his sincerest apologies, both for the seating fiasco, and for no one contacting us in a prompt manner. He said it’s not their normal way of doing business. He noted that Mastro’s is all about the people who dine there…if not, they wouldn’t be around long. I do feel that Mastro’s made it right with us, and we will visit them again. I really do want to visit them again, because no doubt about it, their food and service is terrific!Pros + Excellent steaks
Our family loves sushi & have frequented many establishments for many years throughout the world, so we decide to take our daughter in law there for her birthday–there were six of us. This was our first time to Nobu. I had heard it was pricey, but good, AND IT WAS!!! Best to order in stages and eat family style–first cold dishes, soup, hot dishes, then sashimi/sushi, dessert. Black cod w/miso, yellow tail w/ jalapenos, shrimp with lobster and lemon grass all were culinary treats (signature dishes)–these specialties went beyond my expectations. Web site states not suitable for children, not accurate. If your children like Japanese cuisine good place to go because noisy which allows children to be themselves and have fun too. Food was served quickly. SO WHY FOUR STARS IF FOOD YUMMY–the waiter. He was obnoxious and patronizing treating us like we were imbeciles of Japanese food and on occasion grimaced or sighed when we asked about an item. He forgot our reorder drinks and on
I went here with a bunch of girls from work on a Wednesday and when we got to the valet, it looked like there was a line to get in. But once we got out, we saw that it was just paparazzi waiting for someone to arrive. Long story short, Julianne Moore and Carmela from the Sopranos were there that night and made the night even more exciting. The place is beautiful, the food is great and the drinks were perfect. For the six of us, with several appetizers and 4 rounds of drinks, the bill was close to $500 – but okay because it was all expensed! Liked it so much that i’d go even if it wasn’t paid for. Check it out!Pros + celebrities, beautiful, enormousCons – expensive
