I really like the food at Dingos. I’ve been going there for several years and I’ve always been able to overlook their inattentive service because the food is served piping hot and it’s fresh and tasty! I was there about a week ago and I’ve noticed that they’ve stopped giving complimentary chips and salsa. The chips & salsa weren’t the best, but they do make you wait quite a while to get your food so they really do need to provide the chips & salsa. They also now require you to ask for a glass of water, okay whatever, but know that you will also have to ask for every single refill – and that’s IF you’re lucky enough to catch the attention of your server and they usually seem to blatantly avoid you once the food is on your table. If they want to conserve tap water, fine, but their inattentive service is inexcusable. Most of the wait staff has always acted as if they were too cool to bother with customers, but I’m not paying any more money to support them. The menu prices re

Then where are the ladies? Without them, there is no singles scene. Each time I have been back, it seems to be more of a sausage fest then the last time. And the ones that actually do make it here have been exceptionally lame. Like most new PDX places, they either become too trendy or die trying. This place was great when it opened a couple years ago. Decor cool, atmosphere excellent, then through no fault of XV’s the hoards of idiots started showing up. There are a few pluses though. It has one of the better jukeboxes in Portland (not to be rivalled by the now defunct Players Club). Bartenders and service has always been top notch. Plus they know how to mix a mean drink. Keep it up guys! You are the only reason I come back to this place.Pros + jukebox, service, drinksCons – clientele

My neices and I spent the weekend of the 7th of Feb. right downtown in the pretty city of Portland. One neice lives there and one flew in from Virginia. Having heard about Darcelle’s for several years I have always wanted to see the show. What a great time we had!!!! After walking most of the day, my back was killing me. When Darcelle came out to take pictures with everybody, I was sitting on a windowledge to ease the pain. When she found out about this, she took me inside and put me and my group right in the front row at the end of the runway!! What a lovely thing for her to do. Thank you so much Darcelle. The girls were just amazing. Extremely beautiful and classy and funny too. They really made everybody feel right at home and made sure everybody had fun.The strippers weren’t bad either. At one point, I looked at my neices and they fighting over the last dollar bill!!One thing I learned was not to touch the girls! I simply lost my head and smacked Darcelle on his bare

Rude large bartender with long frizzy hair wouldn’t fix my drink right. He has an attitude problem, andeven threw an object at a customer. However, really fun drag queen, lip synch show withgreat costumes and dance moves!Fun show that went on for a few hours on friday night. Plenty of video poker machines, pooltable and gold fish aquarium inside the bar, must see to believe! In the back dance club, another rude waitress pushing drinks on me over and over, even thoughI had a drink 2/3 full. But great dark, moody atmospher and fun retro music from Depeche Mode, Human Leagueand classic bands with real style. Not todays American Idol and rap junk.Interesting crowd of gay, straight and bi folks. Some were dancing alone, seemed to bein their own world. Not too much mingling, people seemed to stay alone, or stick with theirgroup. Older rundown place, but seems to fit the mood and character of the people there.
