Where is the Best Florist in Austin, Texas?
I had to shop around for a florist for my wedding and Verbena was recommened to me by a friend. They called me back after sending an email within 24 hours. Every other florist I called it took over 4 days just to make an appointment. That was the first sign I wanted to use Verbena. Then I got on city search and saw a review from a bride that said she ordered all white flowers for her wedding and got only pink flowers. That made me really nervous. When I went in for my appointment I asked the designer about it. She showed me pictures from the actual wedding. I couldn’t believe it, the flowers were pure white! I was so happy that she had some photos. I use this site often and I think it’s important that people know to take each review with a grain of salt. I was relieved to be able to make my own judgement and see that the other review was really overly negative and exagerated.Well, I am so happy that I booked them. I got my estimate within a few days and they were UNDER my budget.
I ordered a flower arrangement for my sister’s wedding. I just let The Flower Studio know what type of flowers and my price range. Not seeing a picture or anything made me a little nervous but it turned out to be gorgeous! On top of that the people were veryyy nice and helpful! I will use them when it’s my turn to get married! Highly recommend..Pros + ServiceCons – None
I’ve ordered several arrangements from Edible Arrangements, and have been thrilled every time. People are always amazed at how cute they are, and are such a welcome change to the same old boring flowers. The chocolate covered strawberries are the best I’ve ever had, far better then the offerings at Lamme’s and Dr. Chocolate. I’ve also been impressed with the staff. They are always friendly, and professional. Pros + Creativity
They did the flowers for my wedding. I opted for very open white roses for my bouquet. When I got them, the roses were cmpletely closed and they simply said that they were sorry but they couldn’t get them to open. I went HEB and bought some white roses and attached them to my bouquet myself at home. The flowers looked identical and were 10X cheaper. I also got some staircase flowers. They were actually pretty nice looking. Of course, they were joking about how some other customer wanted to buy them. They told her that they need more money because they would have an irate bride on their hands. They thought this was funny. They didn’t care about ruining my wedding per say, they just needed to be more financially viable for them to do so. Who does that!Pros + can make a decent bouquest, sometimesCons – unethical horrible people.
I’m not accustomed to buying flowers, but when I do, I want to make sure that they are of good quality. I’ve bought flowers from grocery stores and they do an ok job. But just as with any gift, what you give shows who you are. When I was recommened to Jenny at Calla Florist, I found her to be very pleasing, knowledgeable, and talented. I could definitely tell that she puts a lot of care and time into her work and flowers. I received a very attractive arrangement for a very reasonable price. I can definitely say that I will have Jenny as my regular florist from now on and will always recommend her to anyone looking for a good florist.
