I ordered flowers for a friend who just had a baby. I was a little skeptical because there website doesn’t show any arrangement pictures. The woman who answered the phone was very polite, and she knew exactly what she was talking about (meaning she knew exactly what flowers they had just gotten in). All I told them was that I didn’t want the typical baby girl arrangement, something tropical. Well four hours later, my friends called to tell me how beautiful the flowers were. They just had a baby but the had to call and say thank you. They also included some buds that hadn’t bloosmed yet so the arrangement would only get more beautiful. The delivery was also very quick and the price was good. With delivery the arrangement was under $85. Nowadays for flowers that a pretty good price. My family and I have used Alpine for years. The have done two weddings, three big parties, many holidays, and, sadly, my father’s funeral recently. Because they have taken the time to listen to us, when the death of my father came, we called them and they really made it as painless as it could have been. The flowers were beautiful and really fit my dad.We have always loved their creative designs as well as the “traditional” ones for mom. These are good, hardworking people who will do their best for you. I chose Charlotte’s because they were one of the few places in town willing to do silk flower arrangements – a necessity for my planned cruise ship wedding. When Hurricane Ike made moving my wedding here mandatory (2 months before my date!) I was excited to be able to use fresh flowers instead – and even more excited that Fred still had my date open. Fred Galvan was amazing. He was patient and listened to my unusual demands…simple, casual and elegant with naturally occurring blues and greens – nothing dyed and hints of pink and purple in my bridal bouquet only, and touches of starfish. HE completely understood what I wanted. And wow did he deliver! My flowers were breathtaking – I actually cried when I saw how beautiful they were, and exactly what I wanted! Everyone at the wedding commented on how gorgeous and unique my arrangements were. And I can’t forget the cake topper! I provided him with a picture of one I liked and he improved upon it. We used Westbank for several different occassions including my brothers wedding and the baptism of both of our children. I have also used them to send arrangements to friends that have had babies recently and mothers day. I have had such luck with them and have always received nothing but complements from guests and receipients of their flowers about how uniquely designed they were, how fresh the flowers were and how aromatic they were.
