Where is the Best First Date Spot in Las Vegas, Nevada?
PLEASE SEE BARRIE AT TAO!Last night I went out with friends to Tao Nightclub in the Venetian. We went to the back bar where it was less crowded to get some drinks. I set my hat and handbag down at the bar directly in front of me. I made the mistake of turning around to talk. When I turned back around my purse was gone!!!!!!!!I start flipping out and the bartender saw me and asked what was wrong. I told her that my handbag had just disappeared. She immediately described it. She also saw who picked it up! She immediately grabbed security and then actually came out from behind the bar with the security person. She then walked me through the club looking around. She went directly up to a group at some tables and spoke directly to a guy at the table saying that his friend had taken my purse. After some strong discussion between her and him, we turned around and there was the girl with my purse! She walked right up to her and told her that she saw her take it off the bar and th
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas and I love introducing friends to it. The tapas style menu makes it great for small to medium sized groups. You also get a lot of variety for a very reasonable price. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and this is my list of favorite dishes and the ones I’d pass on.FavoritesArtichoke toasts- My boyfriend who doesn’t even like artichokes, likes this one.Stuffed Dates- Great flavors and textures. The sweetness from the dates and saltiness from the bacon and blue cheese are such a wonderful combination. The red wine reduction really brings it all together and the almond adds a nice crunch.Albondigas- Just well done meatballs in marinara.Ham and cheese croquetas- Fried meat and cheese, it’s a little hard to go wrong there.Merguez- A flavorful lamb sausage served with red pepper and tomato confit. The sweetness from the confit compliments the slightly spicy sausage nicely.Firefly* fish sticks- Fried tilapia fillets with
I went to eat here with a small group of friends. The food was to die for. Very good and very elegant presentation. The customer service, however, was another story. From the beginning, the host who couldn’t find out reservation was very rude, to our waiter who forgot some of our sushi, and who we had to ask 3 times for the wine list. A lot of the other servers there seemed very snooty, treating us like we were privileged to be eating there. I definitely recommend the food there, but would probably not go back because the service was so terrible.Pros + Elegant food, good presentationCons – Bad customer service
