This seafood grill has a great patio that makes for a perfect romantic evening out. Ponti is located in Fremont and overlooks both the Fremont and Aurora bridges, its right on the water and feels great on a hot summer evening with a cool breeze. Go for sunset and enoy some drinks with some great views. Happy hour is early and allows you to get some of the pricier food for cheaper prices. I don’t even like seafood but can’t wait to go back to this restuarant just to be able to relax by the water and watch the boats go by. Might be a good place for a special occasion dinner. Pros + view, outdoor seating, ambiance

I recently referred my best friend to eat here, she checked out the review marked “an experiement” . I am a proud black woman, who has eaten at this cafe many times, and lived in MP almost my entire life, and the last thing I would call this cafe or the employees there is discriminating. I think what we have is a man living his life as a black man, instead of just a man, accusing everyone around him as discriminating against him, which makes me sad because it makes us all look that way. I will tell you that the food at the cafe is good, they have their up and downs with consistancy, the baked eggs are never the same, egg dishes never the same size, but ive never had a bad experience there with food (either brunch or dinner). The staff is a whole other story. Thee was recently a change in staff and some of the long time servers are no longer there, which is a huge shame because they were excellent and I miss sitting in their sections. There are 2 new men working there and I have sat in

It was a rainy night, I wasn’t sure what we were doing, and my dream boat drives me here for a romantic dinner. Well, it worked. It was warm, there was a low din in the dining room, we were seated by the fire, and there I was, transported back to first date moments~ what a great feeling. We had generous glass pours, and the wine was delicious, a great Caesar and Carpaccio, and the pasta was good. I had ordered the veal, but unfortunetly the veal was off that night, so it found its way back to the kitchen. Regardless, the pasta that replaced it was creamy and satisfying, and my feelings of being treated like a princess on a cold bleak night stayed with me all evening. It seems as if there were other couples there on true first dates, with a lot of sparkle and candle light, leaving with smiles. I left warm and smiling with them.Pros + Warm, friendly, great wine and pastaCons – parking, no visible full bar?
