Where is the Best Fireside Dining in Orange County, California?
Last night my best friend Bill and I ate at the cooking bar and had a nice cozy spot all to ourselves. We shared the spincah salad which had some very interesting spinach…red colored…but the cheese crouton and dressing with candied walnuts made the salad delicious.Bill had chicken and mashed potatoes which were reportedly delicious. I did get a bite of the potatos. I had the special tomatoes and cheese, can’t remember the fancy name but it was fabulous.For dessert, yes we had barely enough room, was an incredible french toast tiramisu with bananas and walnut ice cream!Yum yum yum…have always liked this corner dining spot and it’s still as good as when it first opened…although quite different with the creative touches and tastes of Chef Ryan Adams and Manager Lori McLean. I had no idea that such a soup existed and the experience was spectacular. We had an amazing time and would come back again and again. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I was very bummed out about turning 31 and wasn?t up for celebrating until my two girlfriends decided to surprise me and take me to the luxurious Anaheim White House Restaurant. It?s such a beautiful and luxurious looking restaurant. The goal was to really make me feel like royalty and they did it. I enjoy good dining and judge restaurants harshly as I expect a lot from luxurious restaurants, and the Anaheim really hit a good note with me. It?s beautifully furnished without overdoing it. The color scheme really takes you back in time along with the beautiful antique style furniture. The menu has amazing choices and it was actually very difficult to decide which of the many amazing things to eat. Gallagher’s is a great pub. They have friendly efficient bartenders every time, and tasty Irish pub food. I recommend going to the bar to order the wait staff service is a bit slower. They have a good variety of music, mostly punk rock, almost every night. They crowd there is usually pretty diverse and laidback, but they do get the occasional pub brawl. The security staff is great at handle those situations, so no worries about it.The cover is no more than $5 most the time so its worth a look.
