Loved the ambience of this cozy and quaint restaurant. Had a very comfortable feel to it, at the same time giving you the atmosphere that’s perfect for that romantic dinner. My husband had the jumbo shrimp cocktail appetizer, duck with orange sauce and ice cream (he just wanted something sweet after the meal). I had the puff pastry with ground veal and pork, chicken stuffed with goat cheese and spinach and vanilla creme brulee. Liked the puff pastry, hubby thought shrimp cocktail was tasteless, we both enjoyed our entrees but were equally disappointed with the dessert. I was expecting so much more from a French restaurant! The ice cream was probably something bought from the grocery store and my creme brulee was very bland. The service wasn’t anything exceptional. I’d rate the restaurant better if I’d never tried the dessert but being a sweet tooth, I left feeling very cheated.Pros + puff pastry, entree

Front Page news is a staple on the Midtown Mile. It consistently provides a menu with tons of variety as well as a great drinking patio. You want a happy hour with a big pitcher of beer and an incredible patio with skyline views of the Midtown skyline? The Front Page News is the place for you. This gem usually holds a younger business crowd that keeps the party going long into the night on weekends. Great spot for happy hours and gamedays!

i’ve dined here twice since Kevin took over from Michael in the kitchen. Although the food is as good as ever, if not better, the portions have gotten smaller. The service is always great (my favorite in Atlanta), but i do wish Kevin would increase portion sizes. Atlanta is not used to $18 appetizers the size of a sand dollar….

I used to be a big fan of this bar/restaurant and its patio. The food was good for bar food and the drinks were always cold – but honestly its the patio and the soccer events that everyone’s after. But after a recent outing there I’ve decided never to go back. I was enjoying drinks and a meal at a table with some friends and our food had just come out. There was a small crowd of people standing up drinking by our table who kept putting out their cigarettes in the ashtray in front of our plates as we were eating and leaving their trash next to our food on the table – basically using our table as their dumping ground. We asked them to stop several times and explained to them that normally it wouldn’t be a big deal but we were trying to eat and one among the group said strangley “are you serious?” in a mocking fashion. Come to find out it was the management. Nice one. I’ll have to look for another patio this summer because I can’t in good conscience go back after being treated tha

A great spot for a romantic dinner and also a girls night out! This place has an old city charm to it with a upscale diner kind of feel. You would never think the inside looks the way it does from the outside. Vickery’s looks iike it use to be a house that they remodled. Great outside patio overlooking the Midtown skyline with a even better menu to go with it. I ordered their cheeseburger with macaroni and cheese. Their macaroni and cheese is so different with little pieces of pepper in it but is sooo good! I have also heard their tator tots are incredible! Centered right in the middle of Crescent Street, this is a great place for a dinner before a night on the town!
