Where is the Best Fine Dining in Dallas, Texas?
the service is great, the food is divine and the ambience is pleasing. having dined at alot of “esteemed” places this is a welcome addition. the menu is on the adventurous side but EVERYTHING ive had had perfectly balanced flavors and good portions. our waitress knew the menu well and was very informed on the wine menu (which is great as well). the atmosphere is soothing with the feeling of eating at a friends house, if your dinner will be for two in the main restaurant (there is lola’s and the tasting room at lola’s) then request the table by the bay window as it is so charming.Pros + atmosphere, menu, friendly staffCons – little pricey, but oh so worth it
My boyfriend and I were looking for a really great seafood place, and decided to try Chamberlain’s for his birthday dinner. It was just perfect. The ambiance was cozy and romantic and the food was amazing. We started with the calamari, which was a huge portion, however my boyfriend still managed to finish all of it! Then I had a baby spinach salad with sun-dried cherries and pecans that was mouth-watering. I love salads like this! My boyfriend had the gumbo and said it was the best he’s ever had. Next, for our entrees, I had the sea scallops that were perfectly cooked and delicious; and he had the cioppino-the seafood stew. The cioppino was so amazing! I had never had anything like this, and I will definitely be going back for more! It was full of lobster, scallops, fish, and shrimp- almost too much for one person! Also, the lobster mac and cheese was incredible. I was ridiculously full by this point, but we had to try a dessert- the lemon pie. It was the perfect ending to our meal. Al
I go to this Thai Zone place very often for lunch during weekdays since my office is about 5 minutes away. My favorite lunch dish is Pad Kee Mow chicken and Yellow curry fried rice. 3 stars spicy (medium spicy) is what I can handle. The daily lunch special comes with a cup of vegetible soup. And for $1.00 more you can add an eggroll to your dish. I’ve tried many thai places in DFW but this is the best of the best. Bring someone special to this place and you will like it. Enjoy great food with affordable price in this nice restaurant is a smart choice.Pros + Nice decor…affordable and great food.
My husband and I dined here recently and have to wholeheartedly disagree with the reviews below – surely they are not talking about the same restaurant! We experienced exceptional service from the moment we were greeted by the hostess, right until we left, when the manager kindly printed directions to a nearby event (without us having to ask!). The waiter that served us was simply one of the most knowledgeable, professional staff members I have ever had the pleasure of meeting (no mean feat when the last restaurant we went to was Charlie Trotter’s). He was informative and made excellent recommendations for wine pairings with our menu, and the wine was superb. Our food came out at exactly the right time, and was, quite simply, the best meal I’ve had in Dallas (yes, it beat the Mansion at Turtle Creek, hands down). The restaurant was delightful and not noisy at all, a great clientele and buzzy but not crowded. The decor was beautiful and elegant but contemporary. We shall definitely be ba
