Went to the location on S Tryon. Being new to Charlotte, I had never heard of Cook Out, but tried it because a co-worker said they had great milkshakes and hot dogs. I ordered a slaw dog, onion rings and vanilla milkshake and it was GREAT! That was the best hot dog I have had in a really long time. If you like a super thick milkshakes, you’ll enjoy theirs. The onion rings were also good, but were more along the lines of frozen in a box, not homemade. On a later visit, I tried the Cheddar Burger which was extra cheesy and had grilled onion on it. It was also delicious! Both times I have gone, I have been extra pleased at the prices!! You can feed 2 people for under $10 and have great food! The next time I’m in the mood for a hot dog or good burger, I will skip normal fast food joints like McDonalds, Burger King and Jack in the Box and head straight to Cook Out. Pros + Hot dog, milkshakes and prices

I worked at Wylers on Madison Avenue 25 Years ago and THAT was the high price category in Manhattan. The Manhattan Art & Antique Mall is the top level of antiques in Manhattan with Sensible prices. The Mall on 23rd has mid level antiques by transient dealers . If you want Victoriana to the 1960’s. If you are looking at this mall based on prices you are missing the rarity of its pieces, ranging from Georgian Sterlings to Neolithic Chinese sculptures. I know of a place in LA that has phone number prices but the items are so rare it makes sense. This last reviewer might prefer the less reputable resale dealers but the MA&AM has only established and reeputable dealers who have been in the field for decades. Some of hem are passed down in the family. The first reviewer should take the time to get to know who she is reviewing and what the items are before blasting off about it. Sounds like a flea market hunter to those of us who know the field.
