I had forgotten about the good old days until I drove up to Zack’s Hamburgers. It all came back once I hit the door and stepped inside. I sat down in front of a real hamburger and drifted back to those good ole days. I listened to George talk to each customer like he knew them well and he would see them tommorrow. When I finished my Zack’s Special I learned that George did know all those people well and the only thing he was puttin in the food was years of experience makin a great burger. Zacks makes a great burger and when you add the personality and fun the place has I can see why the folks keep comin back for the Zack Attack. George started out with a good thing and never changed it! Zack’s has best burger in town. I’m not Kiddin’ Tommy Nations acpweb.netPros + price, delicious, phenominalCons – crowded lunch

If you want hot dogs with various toppings this is the place. Although it wasn’t as good as everyone said it was. The hot dogs were smaller than the bun. The toppings looked fresh, but lack of taste and zing. When I ordered the Bread Bowl to-go they didn’t even give me the bread bowl. I specifically asked the server, If I didn’t order the Bread Bowl for dine-in..do I still get the bread for take-out, she said yes, but when I got home, NOTHING’S THERE! So I just had regular chilli with no bread bowl. Though I was cheated a little there. 1 small dog, 1 drink, 1 so called bread bowl, set me back $8.50, not filling enough for that amount of money. (unless if I HAD THE BREAD MAYBE)Pros + Various dogs to pick, FastCons – Not much place to sit, Cold food, Bit pricey

Granted, I have only been there once, but enjoyed my visit. I ordered the Black Bean vegetarian burger with sweet potatoe fries. The burger was huge, moist, with alot of flavor; generous portion ofsweet potatoe fries was my choice for a side item. Even if you are not vegetarian, this is a good one to try. I went there this past summer, and suppose it was busy because it was right at lunchtime during the week. Other customers were getting to-go orders as well as I. The restraunt even has T-shirts for sale, and the person at the counter took my order. They are rushed and busy but friendly. You have not had a burger till you go there, and you can definately have it your way!Pros + Good food, good serviceCons – Price, wait, and crowded

I love the food at Duckworth’s. I am a loyal customer and eat there often. I honsetly haven’t had anything off the menu that wasn’t delicious. The buffalo blue cheese chips are incredible. I also get coupons in the mail for buy one get one half off, which intices me to keep going. The only drawback is parking and the inside is kind of dark for my taste.Pros + Love their cheesesteakCons – Dark atmosphere

This place consistenly ranks as the most popular fried chicken place in Charlotte, and I can see why. The meat is very moist, the skin and crust are crispy. Overall, the chicken is good from a technical perspective. But what it lacks is spice. There’s no flavor! The problem is, I haven’t been anywhere in Charlotte that has fried chicken with flavor! If anyone knows a place that has spice, please let everyone know. It’s the best in Charlotte, but if you’ve had fried chicken outside of Charlotte, you’ll know what I mean.Pros + Juicy chickenCons – Needs spice and flavor
