If you’re looking for swank, go to Michigan avenue. If you’re looking for value, this is the place. We’ve stayed here the last 4 of 5 visits. The 5 blocks to Michigan avenue is great exercise for this 61 year old man with a pacemaker and his wife. November of 06 we even had 5 rooms for the Grooms side of the family from Ohio. Everyone said it was easy to find and had no complaints. Even our parking attendant was a great “guide” to the city. We’re staying here again in July when we visit our son and his wife.

Nice hotel right off Magnificent Mile & within walking distance to many things. Convenient parking in garage connected to the hotel. Balcony room was nice, but the balcony really doesn’t amount to much. Room was quiet and had no trouble sleeping. Friendly staff – especially the front door employee. Stayed there for nine nights in August’08. Location of the hotel is good, close to Navy Pier and Magnificent Mile but yet relatively quiet. I (single traveler) had a corner room in 13th floor. No noise from the atrium to this particular room, probably because it is located somewhat further away from atrium than “regular rooms”. Room has certainly large…

I stayed at the Sheraton Towers and found the hotel enjoyable. The hotel is located right on the river and is walking distance to many of the fine attractions that Chicago has to offer. The hotel has a nice workout center and a bar in the lobby. My room was average size, but provided outstanding views of the river and downtown Chicago. The crowd in the hotel seemed to be a high percentage of business travelers and convention folks.

The place is awesome! When you first walk in, a beautiful scent envelopes you and the flower arrangement is always unique. The lobby on the second floor has a burning fireplace in the center. The rooms have the best beds I’ve ever slept on. The pool and excercise room are spacious, inviting and usually have a bowl of fruit available. It’s close to Woodfield Mall with the added advantage of having a trolley taking you there. We love it and have now made it a point to always stay at Marriott’s because the quality is so high, even at their more discounted hotels. It’s always the same quality bedding!
