My husband and I stopped in here for an early dinner. We were seated promptly, and continued to have attentive (but not overbearing) service throughout the meal. The cocktails and food were very good, and overall we enjoyed our meal.Pros + excellent service

Burgers are simple, juicy, and prepared fresh. Try the milkshakes, which are thick and perfectly complement the chuck and fresh fries. Retro-design is cute. Lots of tables. Good for kids and groups.Pros + Good Burgers, Lots of space, Good for FamiliesCons – Cheesy Atmosphere

I have been here several times and have always enjoyed a great meal. In fact, the cioppino might be the best I have ever had. It is amazing! My one complaint…it takes forever to get your food. I have been when it’s filled and when it’s empty…it doesn’t matter. You are waiting for half an hour no matter what.Pros + FoodCons – Wait time

The food is solid BBQ. I’ve been there several times, and it’s always tasty. Never a bad meal because it’s consistent every time. Not outstanding or innovative, but good BBQ. Hey, sometimes you just need a plate of meat. Note that they’re light on the BBQ sauce but there’s extra available on the side. Pros + Solid and consitent BBQ; TraditionalCons – Lacks some innovation

We ran into this place while hoping for something filling after a day at the California Academy of Sciences. Wasn’t busy in the least. Menu has got a good bit of items, mostly burgers and “sammies” in the lunch section. Lots of options for sides (fries, small salad, house soup, homemade potato salad, or onion rings for $1 more). We all went for burgers and no one was disappointed. They came on a hoagie roll, which wasn’t quite what we were expecting; tasted just fine. Lots of pickles for the burgers. Little light on the bacon for the House Special burger – just one slice. Had two slices on the bacon cheddar. Service was spot on – attentive and friendly. Three little brownie bites came with the bill; so delicious and unexpected. Really hit the spot.
