I have been to green about 4 times and have been pleased at each visit. My husband and I only eat out about two meals per week. I cook at home often so I dont mind having a fried entree when I go out.The chicken fried wheat meat, mashed potatoes, sweet potato fries (well done), refried beans, zucchini enchiladas, brown rice, taco salad, neat loaf and pop corn tofu poboy are all great! The place is eclectic with staff who are well versed on the menu and vegetarianism.Green does not claim to be a health oriented eatery, but they have offered healthier options lately. The hummus platter, sweet apple salad, raw wrap and more can be ordered if you choose. The price is right too.Pros + The food and ambianceCons – parking – but no big deal

I have only eaten there twice but will definitely go back. I LOVE their salsa and tortillas taste homemade. Their sopapillas are wonderful! The only thing I would say they could improve on is the service. Their staff does not appear to be very friendly. The hostess we have had both times didn’t smile and there was some manager with blonde hair that looked uncomfortable because she was walking REALLY funny in shoes that were obviously too high for her. She did not smile- probably because she couldn’t walk in those shoes and her feet were killing her- and did not appear to be friendly. The waiters could have been a bit more attentive. We waited quite awhile before they refilled our drinks and came to check on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. The food WAS great! The atmosphere is GREAT and we will go back but I would like to see an improvement on the staff and service. Pros + Food, atmosphere, authenticityCons – service, restrooms too small for size of restaurant

The food here is really great. It not only tastes great, but it is much better than your run-of-the-mill fast food eatery. The servers are friendly, and the large volume of people speaks for itself. You get good food here for a reasonable price.Pros + Great food, Friendly, FastCons – Sometimes crowded

Had heard nothing about this burger joint, saw it in a travel book and decided to try it. Thought that the service was top notch and the burger and onion rings were great! Do not have Sonic where I love so cannot compare it to that, but compared to McDonald’s, Burger King, etc. thought that this was much better and a very 60’s looking restaurant. Noticed that there were a lot of families eating there, very kid friendly.

Yes, the food is good…the puffy tacos were worth the trip. But the service was overwhelmed, margaritas were pricy, and the food was slow to come out. Don’t be intimidated by the crowded parking lot, if you’ll take a table indoors, you can be seated pretty fast. great chips and salsa!
