Where is the Best Family-Friendly Dining in San Antonio, Texas?
We went on a Friday night. Got in quickly and got our food fast. I remember going there as a kind once and seemed like it was much better than (go figure). Ordered the shrimp and catfish which was good. My son orderd a plate with 3 different things on it. He ate 3 and didn’t touch the third. This place is really for atmosphere and nothing else. Better food can be had for less $$ elsewhere.Pros + atmosphereCons – mediocre food
The place deserves a visit just in itself: its bar, its bakery etc… It is very well decorated and it creates just a nice atmosphere for having a good time with your friends/family. The food unfortunately is just “above average” and was a disappointment given the reputation of the place. Also very annoying is that the service is slow and of low quality. Finally, a lot of musicians are wandering between the table constantly asking if they can play a song for you, which becomes annoying after a while.Pros + beautiful room and nice atmosphereCons – food quality and service
Sea Island is very concerned obout the customers! If something is wrong they are more than happy to fix it without hesitation! The prices are excellent and you don’t have any wait staff that you have to tip! more money saved! The food is so fresh and all made from scratch daily. It is a casual restaurant with first class food! I definately recomend eating at and of the Sea Island Shrimp Houses for you and your family to visit!Pros + inexpesnsive, good parking, great value
