Where are the big TV’s ? There isn’t on big screen TV in the whole place. It is the worst place to go. There are six 13″ televisions at the bar and this is the best sports bar in Pittsburgh. I don’t think so. The best place to go is Rock Bottom and not Dave and B.S. The televisions are at the worst angle also, If I had to stay there for a whole game my neck would be so stiff. Great food, bad TV set up.Pros + foodCons – need TV screens

Of the 4 people in my party, all agreed that the food was excellent. However, the lack of attention from the waitress was so extreme that we all became quite frustrated, and ended up leaving no tip. She did not ask us if we wanted a drink, an appetizer, a dessert, etc. No drink refills were offered nor were any provided. We thought we might mention to the manager the long periods of time during which the waitress was inaccessible, but there was apparently no management on the premises this evening. It’s too bad because the atmosphere is great and the food is excellent. Not sure if I’d return.Pros + Delicious, Reasonably pricedCons – , No management present

Gotta say the food at Buca is real good. I’ve been there with my wife and friends a few times and have always enjoyed the food. Taste aside, the place is a bit cramped, especially with bigger groups, and even though they have changed the menu to accomodate couples (they didn’t use to have options for just two people..mostly a group place in the recent past) you are feel a bit limited in what you can get unless the entire party you’re with likes the same things. The worst thing about Buca was made evident to me on our last two visits. The most recent time we’ve been there was disappointing, not because of the food, but we went for a friends birthday party and the host/hostess staff not only ruined the surprise even though they were told not 15 minutes beforehand that it was intended as a surprise, but we were really surprised the way that Buca sends a manager over to tell you when you should leave the restaurant, because they have other people coming in to be seated. Keep in mind, th

I’m still pretty new here and haven’t been to Sq. Hill for pizza yet, but I imagine a neighborhood like that can do better. I liked Pepperoni’s crust, although I’m not generally a big fan of wide, puffy crust edges. I found the sauce salty. I picked up the pizza and by time I got home, much of the topping had slid off, generally an indicator that the pizza wasn’t quite done. And what is it with Pgh and eggplant? Other than Bado’s does anyplace in So. Hills that offers eggplant as a topping? I’d rate most places on Westchester Ave. in the Bronx or Wooster St. in New Haven or Boston’s North End over Pepperoni’s or any Pgh. pizza joint I’ve been to so far — if Sbarro’s can make the top 10, you know you’re not in a good pizza city. But for Pgh, Pepperoni’s is not bad.Pros + cleanCons – topping choices
