Where is the Best Family-Friendly Dining in Phoenix, Arizona?
im in high school and when i went to streamers it didn’t seem like they were trying to get rid of us? they were very friendly! we had just come back from bowling and wanted dessert. so i have no idea what those people are talking about not being family friendly? some people just ruin things for the rest. it was one bad experience, get over it.
I recently went here for the first time, it was interesting. They walked us through the kitchen before seating us, not sure what I think of that. The resturant had an old house or antique store smell. A little disgusting, but I would have to say the staff made it a very positive experience. The dishes are generally for 2 or more, or 3 or more but there are some that you can order for just one person. I like the family style menu, however, it doesn’t work with any group of people. The salads are amazing and the lasanga wasn’t as good as olive garden. Overall, good not great food, nice staff, and good atmosphere.
You could certainly get a fancier meal in many other places, but the food you get for the price can’t be beat. The place is like a museum of interesting western items, paintings and memorabelia everywhere you look. There is something cozy about the place. You rarely wait too long to sit, because there are so many places to eat in North Phoenix now. Have never been treated rudely at any time. Nice place. Anyone who complains about this place needs to go to a snooty place because they are snobs.Pros + value , food , ambience
This location, in the middle of a sprawling golf resort, doesn’t exactly seem like cowboy country. However, up at the top of the hill, you’ll find a fun Western-theme restaurant where you can start your meal by scooting down a big slide from the bar to the main dining room. While the view north across Phoenix is entertainment enough for most people, there are also cowboy bands playing for those who like to kick up their heels. If you’ve ever been bitten by a snake, you can exact your revenge here by ordering the rattlesnake appetizer. Follow that (if you’ve got the appetite of a hardworking cowpoke) with the enormous cowboy “stuff” platter consisting of, among other things, steak kebabs, barbecued ribs, cowboy beans, fried shrimp, barbecued chicken, and skewered swordfish.
In a recent visit to the Chandler CCF my friends and I were commenting on how through even tough times like we are going through right now and in the middle of our brutal Arizona Summers, that this restaurant is still busy and full of energy. The waiters seem to enjoy there jobs and it is evident in the caring service they provide. We eat there often and almost every special occasion involves a trip to the Cheesecake Factory as it is everyone’s first pick. As crazy busy as they are and as big as there menu is as well as the restaurant itself, they seem to pull it off like they are tying there shoes. Many businesses sadly will come and go during times like these but this restaurant is absolutely here to stay. Pros + BEST Food & Service for the Price in townCons – No Happy Hour
