Where is the Best Family-Friendly Dining in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
i think they use whole cream in all their dishes because I felt positively overfed after dinner. we got take-out and they were running late with our order, treated us to an hors d’oeuvre while we waited. large and unusual menu of items that will take you off the beaten track for most Indian in this area. Pros + fresh ingredients, wonderful spices, lovely people, diverse menuCons – a bit pricey for what we’re used to in this neighborhood
The decor is absolutely decadent. I ordered a grilled cheese with a bowl of soup. The cream soup was outstanding. However, the grilled cheese left something to be desired, like melting. A very fresh location with many lunch options. I would highly suggest this place for lunch. Pros + Great SeatingCons – White Bear Lake
We spent a birthday dinner at Harry’s before going to a show at the Fine Line. The ambiance was bland and the lighting terrible, as we were seated in the front room by the door, very cold in the winter too.The waitress, obviously not concerned due to the obligatory 15% added to groups of 8 or more, was unattentive. She did not bring salads before the meal, the food was cold and the scallops not cooked through. Since she did not bother to check, and we had a show to get to, so we were left unsatisfied. In addition, despite the gifts and toasting, she didn’t bother to recognize the birthday, which at most restaurants would be obvious. The only positive thing iabout the restaurant s free parking. As for the waitress, she ordered us a cab. Thanks Marcy!Pros + ParkingCons – Service, food
