Where is the Best Family-Friendly Dining in Detroit, Michigan?
OK, to be fair I still like my mom’s chicken paprikas and stuffed cabbage better, but this is pretty good Hungarian food! We travel about 60 miles once or twice a year to eat here, usually go family style, and have always been happy with the food and service, even though we always go on a Sunday when the restaurant is quite busy, including the private room in back.
This is not going to be the best Italian food that you have ever eaten, but if you can relax, and enjoy a crowd you will have plenty of food and fun. The restaurant serves a lot of food and it is somewhat cafeteria food in nature. I enjoy the people watching here, and the servers are pretty enjoyable. They usually seat you promptly and the serving sizes are generous. I felt that the food and drinks were pretty fairly priced and that the pace of the table service was perfect. You can enjoy your meal without feeling pressured by the wait staff. Pros + Great energy and good funCons – the food could be a little better
