Where is the Best Family-Friendly Dining in Cincinnati, Ohio?
I have been to Dave and Buster’s on a few occasions. After my most recent visit however, I am certain that I will never return. The most accurate way to describe this establishment is as I have listed in the title “Chuck E Cheese with a Bar.” Here is a brief overview of several noticeable annoyances and flaws with D&B’s:1.) It is an absolute cash-vacuum. Games are ridiculously short; most last only seconds. Food and drinks are over-priced as well ($8 for 5 chicken wings?!) 2.) If you go on a Friday or Saturday, be prepared to wait in long lines behind groups of over-zealous children as well as selfish adults who have had too much too drink. 3.) It is VERY uncomfortable. It is much too crowded, much too loud, and much too hot! 4.) In order to play any games, you must load a “power card” with money. However, there are SEVERAL activities for which you cannot use your power card (virtual golf, pool, shuffle board, etc.) This reminds me of “Itchy and Scratchy Land” in th
I have eaten at the Celestial just a handful of times due to it’s very high prices. It is definately a restaurant for splurging or special occasions. The food has always been wonderful, and the view of the Cincinnati skyline might be the very best in the city. The only draw back is the service. You never know if you will get a good waiter or not. Sometimes the service amazing, and other times you’re mostly ignored. When my husband I went to dinner for my birthday, my husband had to actually get up from our table and go looking for waiter. My husband had speciffied that he wanted a special birthday dessert brought out as surprise when he made our dinner reservations. After we had eaten our dinners he kept waiting for a desert to be served, but nothing ever came, and the waiter never came by to check on us. After waiting a long time, my husband made and excuse and went looking for the waiter. My recomendation is if your service starts off badly, just leave before ording food.
After trying Cincinnati’s “best” pizza I decided that I was never going to have a decent piece of pizza again. We just moved here 1 year ago. If LaRosa’s was the best I could not imagine what the other pizza down here was like! Then I discovered the Pizza Tower. It is really good pizza and a great place to take our family members when they visit. My grandchildren love it and ask to go everytime they visit.
