We dine at Central Market regularly. Since it requires a trek of some distance, it must be worth the journey.Pros + Interesting choicesCons – Few locations

The chips and Bob queso were awesome! The kids Tacos lacked some flavor but most kids would find them right on the money. I prefer the migas which were bursting with flavor with the right balance of crunch and ooze. Mom would not switch plates with me so I had to be happy with three bites. The kid bean cheese nachos were good..but then not good enough to get more than a 1 shrimp trade of my dad’s Shrimp Ala Matt Martniez which was nicely flavored and grilled. Sis had a plate of beautiful melted yummy cheese enchiladas and rice and beans which she devoured( high praise from the non-eater) The service was amazing very friendly and attentive without being cloying(my new word this week 🙂 )…the pralines to go were a fun little bonus. Pros + great service, good kids menu, locally owned

We went there for my 50th birthday on a Saturday at 1:00 p.m. It was already crowded and we probably had about an hour wait; which is the norm from what I had read on other reviews. We had a party of 20 and they crammed us all together to where we were bumping elbows but we made it work by spreading out around the ends of the tables so it wasn’t too bad. The waitress was EXTREMELY nice. I believe her name was Anna (she was pregnant). She was awesome and very friendly. The food…I had their chicken chile relleno and OMG it was delicious!! My daughter had the tubular steak taco which was good as well. The atmosphere was great. Very relaxed. It’s well worth the wait once you get seated. Pros + Great food; great atmosphereCons – The wait, but well worth it

My boyfriend and I booked a room here for a weekend on priceline and got a great price! The bedding was ridiculously comfortable and there was a great flat screen tv and ipod player/alarm clock. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful as we were in town for a wedding and needed our clothes to be pressed. the only con was that we thought we were going to be able to walk to 6th street but didn’t want to walk that far (it’s really not that far but there’s a bridge) however, the cab ride wasn’t expensive at all. The pool was really nice as well, i believe it was a saltwater pool and is literally next to the river. I will definitely stay here the next time im in town. Pros + comfort, great staff, poolCons – wakling distance from downtown
