My Fiance and I ate here Saturday night. Both Beef and Chicken Empanadas were good–but beef was better! The dipping sauce was better than any I’ve personally had at other caribbean restaurants and my date agreed. the Mojitos were excellent–but go for the original lime, I was not pleased with the flavored version. If you’re not sure what to order, try the Mojito Combination plate–I always have a hard time deciding between dishes and this way you get Mojo steak, Cuban pork AND chicken, and pleanty of it, for less than $20. Great value. Pleanty of parking was available, and they had a guy playing the steel drums which was kinda cool… We’re gonna go back for the Salsa dancing I hear they have some weekends, as it looks like they would have a nice sized dance floor with the tables moved.Pros + Good food at a great priceCons – had to tackle 400 to get there!

I’ve got a friend with 2 small kids and she likes this restaurant, but I’ve never been too crazy about it. For starters, there are stuffed moose heads on the wall that talk and when it’s your birthday you have to kiss this big moose head being carted around. The first time I ate there my salmon was mushed together with everything else on my plate and left much to be desired as far as the presentation was concerned. It didn’t even taste all that great, either. The second time was better and I had grilled chicken but as long as it’s up to me, I probably won’t choose to go back here. Pros + Family-Friendly, Easy LocationCons – So-So Food, Kinda Cheesy

We are residents of Decatur and eat out very often. We were very frequent Mick’s customers and were sad to see them close. But Parkers has definitely “one upped them” in food and with a beautiful atmosphere and style. This location–particularly the patio– is best in Decatur for people watching, atmosphere, shade– as we LOVE to eat outdoors anytime we can. Their patio is suberb. We have eaten there dozens and dozens of times and have never been disappointed with food or service even one time. The servers are all very good and we have some that have been absolutlety delightful, attentive, fun, and very friendly. The BEST! Everyone makes you feel very welcome from Host to Managers to Owners– as well as servers. Truly our Number 1 Decatur favorite! All they need is those WHEAT rolls as an option they’ll be PERFECT!Pros + Location, View, Food, Service, Owners and Managers!Cons – Can be pricey and need bread variety (ie wheat option)

Used to be, this is one of my favorite restaurants. They keep changing their recipes, but not always for the better. They only have deep fried tofu, not good. They do not grill chicken for their dishes anymore, instead the chicken has coating= more fat. Too bad. I hope they change back. Why change when things are good the way it is??? All together, still goood place to eat, but great anymore. :- (
